Tianyi Cui 4a7d437562 docs(skills): fix dsh-trim-cot-leakage review findings from #2117
The battery self-exclusion widens from references/ to the whole skill
directory (SKILL.md quotes the same leaked shapes), and the invocation
rules name the owning note's evidence self-hits; natural-language
battery lines gain -i so sentence-initial capitals hit; the actually/
wait false-positive family states that no committed line probes it.
The one test now says resolvability clears only this skill's bar —
current-state surfaces still reject resolvable change stories; the
never-deletion-alone rule is scoped to passages that carry factual
clauses. The first few-shot Fixed example links the real web
input-machine note path. The citations note's Verification exemption
(+zh, pair re-recorded) names the skill's files and the note's own
quoted evidence, making the claim mechanically honest.

Tianyi Cui 05a4a41f4f docs(skills): distill the CoT-leakage purge into dsh-trim-cot-leakage
SKILL.md carries the resolvability test, the 8-class taxonomy, the
sanctioned-keeps list, and the owner-first fix workflow; references/
carry 24 few-shot calibration blocks (both citation-boundary directions
plus the four overcorrection traps caught in the purge's review rounds)
and the EN+zh recall batteries with their false-positive families.

dsh-doc-standards' inline leakage probes collapse into a link to the
new skill; dsh-prose-standard gains the sibling pointer; the
committed-artifact-citations note (+zh, pair re-recorded) records the
skill as the operational workflow and exempts its calibration examples
from the battery expectation.

Tianyi Cui 25dcd7293c docs: purge chain-of-thought leakage from prose
Delete design-session citations (decision/audit/plan ordinals, stack
positions), change narration, review choreography, and reviewer-addressed
justification from comments, JSDoc, docs, READMEs, Agent Notes, tests, and
generator templates; restate every affected fact as current-state contract
prose. Fix generated docs at their sources and regenerate the catalogs and
cordis-surface regions; re-paste type-equiv blocks; update every bilingual
counterpart and re-record the pairs. Record the citation rule in the
committed-artifact-citations Agent Note.

Tianyi Cui dad5963484 fix(doc-gates): review findings — GitHub-slugger parity and the surviving old-rule prose
ds-review-bot round: slugs now come from RENDERED heading text (links,
inline code, emphasis) with underscores kept and GitHub's occupied-set
repeat suffixes; explicit <a id> anchors register only from real HTML flow
(fences, inline code, and comments no longer produce phantoms); fragment
matching is exact-case since element ids are. anchorCache is exported and
the spec reuses it. The contradicting 'gate checks file existence, not
#anchor validity' sentence in docs/AGENTS.md is gone; the dsh-doc-standards
residual caveat names the real TS-string anchor homes; the 2026-06-18
cross-link note is updated to shipped behavior and cross-linked with the
fragment-gate note.

Tianyi Cui 10ef3d4924 docs,feat(doc-gates): fix 15 dead anchor fragments; verify-md-links now validates fragments
A corpus sweep under the doc/prose standards found 15 links whose #fragment
named no anchor in its target — reworded headings, one relocated contract
(tool-fs → the group README's no-timeout rule), and zh sides citing English
slugs their Chinese headings never produce. Fixed all 15 (zh sides get the
conventional explicit <a id> + English fragment), fixed the one generator-owned
instance at its source (gen-doc-graphs), and extended verify-md-links to
resolve fragments onto Markdown targets — same-file anchors included — against
heading slugs and explicit <a id>, so the class is gated instead of manually
grepped. Remaining probes (narrated history, duplication shingles, comment
transcripts, budgets) came back clean; sibling-adapter README symmetry and
implemented-note contrasts are deliberate keeps.

Tianyi Cui 2886ba45db docs: give subsystems/ its own README index; retire the data-structures-catalog framing
core.md doubled as the folder index: its intro claimed "this folder catalogs the data structures" and carried the 38-row page table, wording that predates the one-page-per-subsystem shape where every page also carries its generated Cordis surface. The folder index now lives in docs/subsystems/README.md (page table plus the type-equiv note), and core.md is one subsystem page among siblings: the spine vocabulary. Structural referents move with it: the docs/AGENTS.md tier table and update rule, development.md's type-equiv pointer, the dsh-code-review skill, the two owning catalog Agent Notes, and website/docs.ts (README projects as reference/subsystems/index.md and takes the docs/subsystems folder alias; sidebar orders shift by one). Remaining "data-structure catalog" / "sub-page" phrasing in active notes and READMEs is reworded to subsystem-page terms in both languages; touched pairs re-recorded; translation-prompt snapshot re-recorded (its example embeds development.md).

Tianyi Cui ba3125234a docs: rename core-data-structures/ to subsystems/
The folder is becoming the home of one-doc-per-subsystem pages (intro +
data structures + cordis services/events), so the name must describe the
whole contract, not just the type-vocabulary third of it. Mechanical
rename rebuilt on current master: every inbound Markdown link, generator
constant, website route, type-equiv manifest path, and spec expectation
moves together; the zh sides of the notes whose prose names the folder
are aligned (子系统) in the same change; touched bilingual pairs
re-recorded; translation-prompt snapshot re-recorded (its example embeds
development.md). Historical Agent Note slugs keep their dated
filenames.

Yichen Jiang a48b84c001 fix(scripts): only publish images the repository owns, and keep their suffix
Review found four real gaps in the image placement this PR introduced.

Link rewriting only needs a target to exist, but publication copies its bytes
onto the site: a reference reaching out of the tree through `../..` or a
symlink would put a build-machine file on a published page. Only a regular
file whose real path stays inside the repository is copied now, and anything
else fails the projection naming the page and the target.

A placed reference kept none of its `?query` or `#fragment`, which the GitHub
branch has always carried and which decides what an SVG view fragment or a
Vite query means. The suffix rides along again, and the file name is
percent-encoded because the destination is a Markdown inline target.

Page outputs and placed images now claim projected paths from one map, so the
"fail loud rather than overwrite" invariant covers a page and an image landing
on one path, not only two images. `docsSourceFiles()` reports placed images, so
replacing a screenshot re-projects under `docs:dev` instead of serving the
previous copy until something touches the page.

The guide said to set `agent-loop`'s `agents` to change the default model,
which does nothing for `dsh web`: that default is `api-gateway`'s, and the
shipped composition leaves `agents` empty. It also promised that a catalog
provider needs only an API key, which is false for Bedrock, Vertex, Azure, and
Codex. Both are corrected.

The projection note and the doc-site skill carried the superseded "a
repository image becomes a raw GitHub URL" rule; both now describe what ships.

Tianyi Cui 53283003e9 feat(i18n): unit-mapped briefings with mechanical --apply, adopting the #684 planner mechanics
The briefing now maps each update at the narrowest safely aligned
granularity, widening deterministically on mapping failure: a change
confined to the pair's byte-identical code fences is computed outright
(--apply splices it into the counterpart and validates the result
against the pairing gate's structural signature before writing);
otherwise changed Markdown units — headings, paragraphs, table rows,
list items, fences, block quotes, HTML blocks, thematic breaks, link
definitions, matched by container-scoped kind sequences — each carry
their last-confirmed source, current source, and current counterpart
text; units that do not align fall back to depth-matched heading
sections (depth only, so translated heading text still maps); and when
sections do not align either, or both sides drifted, the briefing says
so and withholds the mapping. Terminology rows now match the changed
spans only, English terms on word boundaries with plural inflections,
and Chinese-target briefings track each relevant term's document-wide
first occurrence — a moved occurrence pulls the vacated and receiving
spans into the briefing with an explanatory note.

The unit mapping, mechanical code splice, and first-occurrence tracking
adopt the planner design from the incremental prompt-pipeline PR (#684),
whose provider-backed bake-off independently validated the same scope
ladder; this PR carries those mechanics into the agent-facing briefing
path so both consumers of the consistency records behave alike. The
prior line-hunk section mapping and its heading-text alignment (which
could not map cross-language sections) are replaced wholesale.

Docs: SKILL.md update path, i18n README pair, development.md pair, and
the briefed-updates Agent Note pair brought along; the development.md
fence edit was applied with --apply itself, and the prose updates were
made through the new unit/section briefings.

Tianyi Cui 3841c4ee58 docs(i18n): briefed update path in the workflow, contract, and Agent Note
The dsh-translate-docs skill now triages updates onto a briefing-driven
path — gen-translation-brief output as the translator's whole working
set, orchestrator-applied mechanical fence edits, scoped record/check —
while the whole-document path for new pairs is unchanged. The i18n
README documents the scoped gate forms and the briefing tool;
development.md lists the new command; the new bilingual Agent Note
records the decision and the ten-example benchmark behind it (briefed
path ~1/3 the tokens and wall clock of the corpus-loading path at equal
judged quality; whole-document re-translation rejected on preservation
collapse). Counterpart updates in this commit were produced with the
new briefed path; the new note's Chinese side is a whole-document
translation.

Tianyi Cui 8ceb638bb5 docs(skills): record-browser-gif — assets-branch publishing + mandatory GUI-PR gifs
Every PR that changes product-user-visible GUI behavior now includes a
demonstration GIF with real provenance (that branch's built tree, real
key, real model rounds). Recording stays side-effect-free; the skill
gains a bounded final publication step: GIFs go on an append-only
orphan assets branch (one per PR series) and embed via the blob URL
with ?raw=true, never on the PR branch itself.

Folds in the operational lessons from the Code Mode UI series:
.playwright-mcp/ screenshot roots (now gitignored), per-PR staging and
precise server teardown, one-call DOM polling for transient states,
exact-text completion predicates, prompt engineering for UI states,
and the export-before-invoke GIF_SKILL_DIR encoder pitfall.

Agent Note: implemented/process/2026-07-26-gui-pr-gif-evidence-and-assets-branch (+ zh pair); the 2026-07-23 recording note now defers publication policy to it.

Tianyi Cui 443e2bc509 refactor(tools): shapeDispatchLog off the public registry surface
Responding to review on #661: a public method on the generic ToolRegistry
service whose only caller is the run_code bridge was ad-hoc surface
widening. The bridge now receives it as a registry-private capability
closure in RunCodeBridgeOptions (the requireRuntime idiom, alongside the
cap), the method is private, and it leaves the generated service
catalog/API surfaces.

The pattern is now named as a code smell where reviewers look: the
packages/AGENTS.md capability-interface rule gains the inverse-smell
clause (ceiling 660→675 — the list is at capacity and the clause needs
one sentence), and dsh-code-review's capability-fit check tells reviewers
to flag single-consumer public service methods and require the closure
form.

Tianyi Cui 3a88912a22 docs: adopt dependencies-over-hand-rolling policy from NIH audit
A repo-wide Not Invented Here audit (ten parallel domain surveys covering
every package group, scripts/, native/, vendor/ edges, python/, test
infrastructure, and CI) asked of each hand-rolled surface whether a
maintained external package or Node builtin deletes it with a net win.

Policy: new implemented process note records that a dependency which
genuinely deletes owned code is a preferred simplification (bar: net
deletion, health, boundary fit, settled seams stay); root AGENTS.md
carries the one-line rule and dsh-find-simplifications now surveys for
hand-rolled-where-a-dependency-exists candidates.

Findings, all bilingual from birth:
- proposed/simplification: eventsource-parser for llm-deepseek SSE,
node:timers/promises for three hand-rolled sleeps, turndown (or
  minimal 'entities') for tool-web HTML->markdown, gate-script
  consolidation onto mdast/parseArgs/globSync
- proposed/testing: execa + parseArgs + loadEnvFile + vi.waitFor for
  hand-rolled test subprocess plumbing
- proposed/process: pnpm/action-setup for symmetric CI caching
- proposed/feature: evaluate landstrip before building a Windows
  sandbox launcher
- rejected/simplification: ~30 swap verdicts recorded (vscode-jsonrpc,
  p-retry, Ajv, write-file-atomic, msw, hono, better-sqlite3, wireit,
landstrip-for-linux, YAML consolidation, ...) so the survey is not
  re-litigated from scratch

Also drops the stale prompt/ entry from the AGENTS.md layout map
(workspace instructions live in packages/context/workspace-context).
