The existing assertion-only executable smoke proved selected outputs but could not detect drift across the integrated Python SDK, JSON-RPC notification stream, and persisted session shape.
Keep this separate from ACP snapshots because it must launch the actual platform-native packaged executable through the Python SDK. The deterministic model drives Cordis dynamic tool mounting, a Code Mode worker dispatch, direct spawn delegation, workflow-worker delegation, plugin disposal, and the parent/child persistence lineage.
Commit four portable goldens for the SDK result and three JSONL logs. Normalize timestamps, temporary paths, opaque session and agent identifiers, and bulky request headers while retaining ordering, tool names and arguments, header deltas, results, lineage, and final responses so all native build legs compare the same behavior.
Run the comparison in the label-gated executable build workflow and document the current coverage in the paired implemented RFC.
Add canonical Chinese bindings for build target, deploy root, peer
dependency, serving surface, wheel, wrapper, and VFS so future translations
have one source of truth. Apply the existing runtime, plugin, artifact, and
pipeline bindings throughout every Chinese counterpart touched by this PR.
Require the first Chinese use of peer dependency to retain the English term
so readers can map it back to the package-manager concept without
reintroducing mixed prose throughout the document.
Rewrite mixed-language prose where the English term is not an identifier,
while retaining package names, paths, flags, pkg, single-exe, and other
literal names exactly. Explain VFS on first use and keep technical constraints
readable without inventing compatibility terminology.
Describe single-executable worker support as implemented behavior, including
the filesystem-string entry contract and CommonJS worker artifact required by
the pkg loader, and remove the obsolete bundled-but-unsupported limitation.
Regenerate pairing fingerprints and the generated catalog reference so the
mechanical documentation gates validate the revised English and Chinese
pairs. This keeps the terminology table authoritative and prevents the two
languages from drifting as the runtime documentation evolves.
pkg stores application files in a virtual filesystem, and its
worker_threads hook discovers worker entry points only when they are passed
as filesystem strings. Convert the code-runtime entry with fileURLToPath()
and return the workflow built entry as a string while retaining its
source-mode data URL bootstrap.
Emit worker entry bundles as CommonJS .cjs files. pkg executes a VFS-backed
string-path worker through Module._compile, so an ESM-only entry can be
present in the executable yet still fail when launched. Keep the public hosts
ESM, adapt worker startup accordingly, and align exports, package file lists,
workspace constraints, documentation, and built-worker tests with the actual
artifact format.
Expand the custom-config executable smoke to load the Code Mode and workflow
plugins and script real run_code and zero-agent workflow calls. Require both
tools to return 42 from workers launched inside the pkg VFS, turning worker
support from an asset-presence assumption into an end-to-end runtime
contract.
Update the implemented RFC and verification gates to describe and exercise
the supported built-worker path. This adds no tool or JSON-RPC protocol shape;
it fixes how existing worker-backed capabilities are located and executed in
the single-file distribution.
Rewrite the agent-scope RFC with executable examples and an explicit security non-goal. Harden subagent scalar and depth validation, and pin live tool-filter semantics across code, tests, and generated docs.
Queue worker results before settlement cleanup, claim terminal and death boundaries before provider callbacks, and close late-message admission.
Make child cancellation and disposal reentrancy-safe across the workflow bridge and generic subagent wrapper, with adversarial regression coverage and RFC documentation.
Make Cordis construction and teardown ownership reentrancy-safe, then carry caller and provider ownership through reservation, setup, publication, quiescence, and sentinel retirement.
Stabilize registry carriers and factory/workflow boundaries, add adversarial lifecycle regressions, and align the rewritten RFC plus generated contracts with the enforced behavior.
Drain idle injection flushes before agent teardown, snapshot approval and subagent provider inputs, and gate subagent lifecycle events on real child readiness. Align the RFCs and generated contracts with the hardened behavior.
The three-entry cordis.yml (dsh-sandbox-local + dsh-bash-sandbox at a
read-only default + dsh-approval) served over ACP: the first live approval
composition. Recorded snapshot scenarios pin the wire end to end —
config-options advertisement, the mode-switching arc as the suite pinned
header (both switches, the prompt-section delta, one changed-by-the-user
notice per knob, a confined write landing under the switched mode), and
both escalation branches over scripted permissionAnswers (a grant runs
confined under workspace-write; a rejection executes nothing and pins the
fail-closed text). The with-key escalation e2e drives a real model +
real runner + the real bridge answerer, world-verified; ci.yml snapshot
lane and e2e.yml install bubblewrap so the confined replays actually
execute.
Both RFCs move to implemented/ (Decision/Consequences form, deferred
phases tracked in their own sections), with every cross-reference flipped.
Master advanced 11 commits mid-merge (the Code Mode registry integration:
mode config, run_code, the tools:sdk section, the ACP run_code cards and
unified demos). The fusion makes Code Mode scope-aware end to end:
- wireSchemas(scope): the mode-aware wire contribution is computed from the
CALLING SCOPE's visible set (scoped tools join, shadowing and restrictions
apply) and feeds the {schemas, knownNames} provider protocol.
- knownNames under the mode collapse: a per-scope RESTRICTION is runtime
state, so the universe stays pre-restriction (a restricted-away tool in
toolOrder is a normal absence) — but the MODE collapse is deployment
config, so under mode 'code' the universe is [run_code] and a toolOrder
naming a native tool fails every assembly loud (master's tested decision,
kept).
- The tools:sdk section renders per assembly CONTEXT: the SDK declares
exactly the calling agent's callable set, using the section-text provider
signature this branch already had.
- run_code bindings enumerate schemas(exec.agent) — a program can bind
exactly what its prompt promised; sub-dispatches already threaded
exec.agent through registry.execute, so scoped resolution and carriers
flow unchanged.
- dsh-tools declares both sides' new deps (dsh-scope + dsh-session);
lockfile and all generated catalogs/graphs/api-catalog regenerated.
Gates green on the merged tree: typecheck, lint, per-file 100% coverage
(2710 tests), snapshots (41), doc-sync, module graph, build, hygiene, demo
smoke.
