Conflict resolution notes:
- package.json/run-gates: both sides' new doc-sync gates kept (master's
scoped-events/readme gates + this branch's website-api/website-yaml);
js-yaml devDeps deduped (master added them independently).
- pnpm-workspace/knip: website AND python/sdk-runtime entries kept.
- doc-typecheck/verify-type-equiv: master's condensed headers kept, website
glob retained in both scan scopes.
- vendor/cordis/src/fiber.ts: master's lifecycle-hardening code taken; this
branch's richer FiberState JSDoc reapplied on top. vendor/README.md logs
both local modifications (hardening = 6, JSDoc enrichment = 7).
- pnpm-lock: regenerated from master's side (pnpm install).
Post-merge sync the gates forced (the system working as designed):
- verify-website-yaml caught 4 stale plugin names from master's package
reorg (dsh-stdio-agent -> dsh-stdio-demo, dsh-acp-agent -> dsh-acp-demo);
8 references fixed across guide/ and develop/.
- gen-website-api picked up master's 6 new services automatically
(ctx.approval/permission/sandbox/sessionQuery/skills/tasks -> 6 new pages
+ sidebar); api/index.md hub updated to list them.
- AGENTS.md budget ceiling 1370 -> 1400: the website rows (layout line + two
command lines) and master's own growth collided with the old ceiling; all
three website rows are load-bearing (new top-level dir, new CI command).
scripts/gen-website-api.ts renders website/zh-CN/api/{cordis,harness}/* and the
api-sidebar.json fragment the VitePress config imports, so pages and navigation
can never drift from the code: signatures, @param/@returns prose, dispatch
modes, and GitHub source links are extracted, never transcribed, and the
generator hard-errors on any rendered member missing docs. verify-website-api
(doc-sync + run-gates) is the freshness gate.
Replaces the hand-written zh api pages (7 pages covering 7 of 15 services,
with phantom APIs: Context.current/Context.events, agent/post-step, tool/call,
compact/*, llm/pre-request none of which exist) with generated English
references: 5 cordis pages, 15 per-service pages, and a 35-event catalog
grouped by scope. The hand-written hub api/index.md stays and now indexes the
full surface; zh for these pages arrives with the unified translation flow.
New doc-sync gate verify-website-yaml: each ```yaml block under
website/zh-CN (api/ excluded — generator-owned) must parse with the loader's
real schema (JSON_SCHEMA + !!js), use only EntryOptions keys, name only real
workspace packages, and pass only config keys the plugin's declared Config
type / schemastery schema accepts (collectConfigCatalog drives the key sets).
```yaml ignore-check opts out a deliberate-placeholder block (the
capability-trio tutorial keeps its fictional package names).
- website joins the pnpm workspace; root scripts website:dev/website:build;
run-gates gains a website-build gate (ci-primary + ci-static) — the
VitePress build doubles as the site's dead-link check; AGENTS.md documents
the commands.
- doc-typecheck + verify-type-equiv now scan website/zh-CN/**/*.md; every
```typescript fence converted to ```ts and made standalone-compilable
(55 compiled, 1 ignore-check). Phantom APIs the compiler caught are fixed:
invented event names (agent/turn-end, tool/call, llm/pre-request, ready,
dispose) replaced with real catalog events or per-plugin declare-module
merges; presentCall/inject/Config claims corrected to the real shapes.
- guide/config.md entry-fields table completed against loader EntryOptions;
its coding-agent example brought in line with examples/coding-agent.
Move the agent-spine bundle and the stdio/ACP/JSON-RPC app packages out of
core/ and ui/ into a new packages/examples/ group, renamed with a -demo
suffix so the npm name marks them as non-product surface:
core/agent-core -> examples/agent-spine-demo (dsh-agent-spine-demo)
ui/stdio-agent -> examples/stdio-demo (dsh-stdio-demo)
ui/acp-agent -> examples/acp-demo (dsh-acp-demo)
ui/jsonrpc-agent -> examples/jsonrpc-demo (dsh-jsonrpc-demo)
Update every code/config/test reference and reference-only doc mentions, and
regenerate module-graph, config-catalog, and doc-graphs. The jsonrpc bin
(dsh-jsonrpc-agent) and single-file exe (dsh-jsonrpc-agent-pkg) keep their
names; the SDK runtime-startup surface is reconciled separately.
pkg stores application files in a virtual filesystem, and its
worker_threads hook discovers worker entry points only when they are passed
as filesystem strings. Convert the code-runtime entry with fileURLToPath()
and return the workflow built entry as a string while retaining its
source-mode data URL bootstrap.
Emit worker entry bundles as CommonJS .cjs files. pkg executes a VFS-backed
string-path worker through Module._compile, so an ESM-only entry can be
present in the executable yet still fail when launched. Keep the public hosts
ESM, adapt worker startup accordingly, and align exports, package file lists,
workspace constraints, documentation, and built-worker tests with the actual
artifact format.
Expand the custom-config executable smoke to load the Code Mode and workflow
plugins and script real run_code and zero-agent workflow calls. Require both
tools to return 42 from workers launched inside the pkg VFS, turning worker
support from an asset-presence assumption into an end-to-end runtime
contract.
Update the implemented RFC and verification gates to describe and exercise
the supported built-worker path. This adds no tool or JSON-RPC protocol shape;
it fixes how existing worker-backed capabilities are located and executed in
the single-file distribution.
Every packages/*/* README now carries a canonical '## Known Limitations and
Deferred Work' section: condensed, evidence-backed bullets for consumer-visible
gaps (unimplemented features, platform caveats, MVP cuts) and consciously
postponed work (TODO/FIXME/XXX markers, RFC deferrals still open). The ten
pre-existing ad-hoc variants ('What is NOT here (TODO)', 'Deferred',
'Limitations (MVP)', 'Known limitations (tracked TODOs)', ...) are normalized
into the canonical heading.
A new doc-sync gate, scripts/verify-readme-limitations.ts, enforces the shape:
exactly one limitations-like heading per package README, byte-equal to the
canonical h2, with at least one bullet; near-miss headings fail so variants
cannot creep back. Packages with genuinely nothing to declare (dsh-brand,
dsh-timeout, dsh-subagent-mock, dsh-app-boot) are whitelisted in the script and
must NOT carry the section; whitelist entries are validated against the scanned
package set so a rename fails loud.
Wired into the doc-sync chain (package.json) and the run-gates doc-sync leaf
set; the standing rule lands in packages/AGENTS.md and the adding-a-package
cookbook; decision record in
docs/rfc/implemented/process/2026-07-10-readme-known-limitations-gate.md
(RFC index regenerated).
Also fixes two stale '(deferred)' markers claiming dsh-compact-basic is
unimplemented (the dsh-compact seam README's package table and the seam's
module doc comment).
Master brought 50 commits (the tool-cordis group, dsh-code-runtime + worker,
the tools/execute around-dispatch seam + timeout-policy, repeat-tool-guard,
agent/session-prefix, the ui reorganization). Beyond the ten textual
conflicts, the merge reconciles master's new seams with this branch's
scoped-registration world:
- tools/execute (new waterfall around core dispatch): dispatched with the
SAME exec.agent carrier as the pre/post waterfalls — an agent.ctx wrapper
times/retries only its own agent's calls — and its base thunk resolves the
tool through the caller's visible view (get(exec.name, exec.agent)), so a
scoped/shadowed tool dispatches and a restricted-away global stays
UNKNOWN_TOOL. Declared this: Scoped<ToolRegistry> with the scope-filtered
doc sentence; invariants table + verify-scoped-dispatch pin it (21 events).
- agent/session-prefix (new waterfall, once per loop instance): composed via
the fused agentEvents dispatcher (scope-filtered like every agent-subject
event), declared this: Scoped<Agent>, table-pinned. agent/pre-step keeps
master's new sessionPrefix parameter with this branch's Scoped this.
- timeout-policy reads the budget through the caller's visible view
(get(exec.name, exec.agent)): a scoped tool's own timeoutMs governs its
calls; a global name-twin's budget is never misapplied to a shadowing
per-agent variant.
- tool-cordis: cordis_inspect's tools section lists the CALLING agent's view
(its description promises "what you can call"); the sandbox tool façade's
reads resolve through the mount's own scope, mirroring where its register
lands writes; sandboxRegisterTool's return type carries the exact-disposer
union honestly. dsh-scope declared as peer+dev with the project reference.
- doc-sync chain unions master's verify-cordis-api with this branch's
verify-scoped-dispatch; the generated catalogs, event matrix (the
zero-dispatcher guard passes over master's new events), module graph, and
the cordis api-catalog are regenerated on the merged surface.
Full gate sequence green on the merged tree: typecheck, lint, per-file 100%
coverage (2668 tests), snapshots (38), doc-sync, module graph, build,
hygiene, demo smoke.
