Yichen Jiang 28546b67fb fix(web): answer the review on the declared-provider editor
The display name read only the user layer while its placeholder claimed a
cleared field falls back to the route id. A `cordis.yml` can pin a name
for a route the catalog does not ship, and clearing then restores that
name, not the id. The placeholder now reads the composition layer — the
same layer `inheritedModels` reads — and names the route id only when
nothing pins one.

The saved notice echoed the target captured when the card opened, which
never lied while the name could not change. It now names the provider as
the refreshed directory reports it, and is announced only once that
refresh is in the snapshot it reads from.

The protocol select's blank option is named, because a screen reader
announces it either way and an unnamed one is a choice with no identity.
`protocolChoices` no longer rehydrates the section schema for the two
layouts that have no per-route protocol to find.

Documentation caught up with the same broom: the module JSDoc and the
e2e header both still described one field where the fold now carries
two, the English user guide carried a Chinese UI label among English
ones, and the README's DeepSeek row inventory omitted `maxTokens`.

Yichen Jiang 72344fce93 fix(web): edit a declared provider's name and protocol
The Models editor card curated its pi-ai fields by what every route has,
so `displayName` and `api` — the two a hand-declared route names for
itself — were asked for at creation and then reachable only through
settings.yaml. The editor now renders both for a route the directory
reports as declared, from the same namespace schema the create card
reads. A catalog route gets neither: it defaults its name from its
catalog entry, and its models each carry their own protocol, so a
route-level one could only override all of them.

Clearing the name unsets it and the route falls back to its id, which is
what the field's placeholder shows; storing the empty string would be
refused by the adapter. A declared profile naming no protocol selects
nothing rather than reading as if it had picked the first choice.

The Provider ID stays fixed: it is the settings dict key, it is
referenced from `agent-default-model` and every logged request header,
and it is the stem of a credential reference the page can never read
back to move.

Yichen Jiang ae9d31d098 review: pin off-value wire contract, scope compat inheritance to the entry's api, update the superseded note
Review findings on #1977, each verified before acting: the 2026-08-03
declared-provider-catalog note is updated in place and cross-linked both
ways now that reasoningEfforts/compat reopened half of its rejected
alternative; resolveModelCompat inherits the catalog entry's compat only
while the resolved api still is the entry's own, so a route-level api
repoint no longer merges another protocol's shape as a completions base;
the off-with-value promise gains a request-boundary test proving pi-ai
reads thinkingLevelMap.off when the reasoning option is absent (and the
catalog-level test name stops overclaiming); the cannot-stop-thinking
wording narrows to what is actually enforced (no Off offered, explicit
Off refused — an effortless request goes out bare); the z.const(null)
comment attributes null passthrough to schemastery's nullable
short-circuit; the baseten drift-gate claim names its verification
source; and the layered-merge delete gap for dict keys is documented
under Known Limitations with the atomic-leaf follow-up in #2003.

Yichen Jiang 8ccb176905 docs: per-model reasoning guide, config catalog, and the feature's Agent Note
The user guide's model-catalog section teaches the three new knobs at
task altitude — declare levels per model, pick the reasoning dialect,
reshape catalog models with modelOverrides — with the settings.yaml
example exercising all of them, plus an UNSUPPORTED_REASONING_EFFORT
troubleshooting row. The generated plugin config catalog picks up the
new Config fields, and the bilingual Agent Note records the decision,
the alternatives considered, and the schemastery materialization
constraint that chose false over {} as the disable spelling.

Tianyi Cui 3dfb16008d docs(config): align environment and credential contracts
Code already treats $DSH_HOME/.env as ordinary launch environment and stores managed credentials in .credentials.yaml, but public docs still described the old store, old precedence, removed literal adapter keys, and the deleted TUI. That directed users to the wrong file and overstated the supported configuration surface.

Update the existing English and Chinese owners in place, document inherited > managed > project > user credential resolution, and record the loadLayeredEnv export. Regenerate only pairing records and the source-line catalog; add no new section or site route.

Yichen Jiang d03d3ab70b Merge remote-tracking branch 'origin/master' into worktree/default-model-persistence
Carries two edits beyond conflict resolution, both forced by what master
brought in:

- `CustomProviderCard`: master added front-end key validation and a
component-level `keyValue` (already trimmed) while still writing
`apiKeyEnv` unconditionally. Kept this branch's blank-key rule and its
committed-profile retry gate, and adopted master's single `keyValue` so
the component has one spelling of the key rather than two.
- `docs/user/guide/providers`: master merged #1810, whose default-model
section still taught overriding the `api-gateway` row in
`$DSH_HOME/config.yaml` — the behavior this branch replaced. Rewritten
for the settings section the picker now writes, plus the review fix from
#1810 replacing the colloquial 挂着 in the opener.

Yichen Jiang a48b84c001 fix(scripts): only publish images the repository owns, and keep their suffix
Review found four real gaps in the image placement this PR introduced.

Link rewriting only needs a target to exist, but publication copies its bytes
onto the site: a reference reaching out of the tree through `../..` or a
symlink would put a build-machine file on a published page. Only a regular
file whose real path stays inside the repository is copied now, and anything
else fails the projection naming the page and the target.

A placed reference kept none of its `?query` or `#fragment`, which the GitHub
branch has always carried and which decides what an SVG view fragment or a
Vite query means. The suffix rides along again, and the file name is
percent-encoded because the destination is a Markdown inline target.

Page outputs and placed images now claim projected paths from one map, so the
"fail loud rather than overwrite" invariant covers a page and an image landing
on one path, not only two images. `docsSourceFiles()` reports placed images, so
replacing a screenshot re-projects under `docs:dev` instead of serving the
previous copy until something touches the page.

The guide said to set `agent-loop`'s `agents` to change the default model,
which does nothing for `dsh web`: that default is `api-gateway`'s, and the
shipped composition leaves `agents` empty. It also promised that a catalog
provider needs only an API key, which is false for Bedrock, Vertex, Azure, and
Codex. Both are corrected.

The projection note and the doc-site skill carried the superseded "a
repository image becomes a raw GitHub URL" rule; both now describe what ships.

Yichen Jiang 2426be893a fix(scripts): let the documentation site carry its own images
An image the manifest does not publish was rewritten to a raw.githubusercontent
URL, which serves a private repository to nobody: raw answers 404 unauthenticated,
and a github.com session does not authenticate it. Every image on the site was
broken for every reader, and no gate could say so — link checking asks whether
the file exists in the repository, not whether a site reader can fetch it.

The projector now copies a referenced image into the generated tree beside the
page and points the reference at it, so Vite bundles it like any other site
asset and repository visibility cannot reach the published page. The copy lands
beside the page so one relative URL is right from both locale trees and a page's
assets leave with the page; two sources projecting onto one path throw rather
than letting the last copy win.

Canonical Markdown keeps writing ordinary repository-relative paths, so the same
file still renders when read in the repository.

The guide this was found through is renamed to its subject: 配置模型.

Yichen Jiang a231b56eba docs(user): show the Models page in the provider guide
The page told a reader to open Settings → Models and named the two buttons,
which is thin help for someone who has never seen the page. Two screenshots
per language carry it instead: the Models page with its provider card and both
add actions, and the custom-provider form with the fields it asks for.

They are the first images under docs/. The projector rewrites a
repository-relative image to a raw.githubusercontent URL pinned at the built
commit, so nothing is copied into the site bundle, and the pairing gate takes
no signature from image nodes — which is what lets each language carry its own
localized capture.

Yichen Jiang 318142ebe9 docs(user): add a model-provider configuration guide
The guide tier said how to compose plugins with `cordis.yml` but never how to
reach a provider other than DeepSeek, so the two things a person actually does
— give a catalog provider its key from the Models page, and declare a gateway
the installed catalog does not ship — had no home outside package READMEs.

The new page covers both entry points and the relationship between them: the
Models page and `$DSH_HOME/settings.yaml` write one document, over a
`llm-pi-ai` adapter that mounts dormant until that document names routes. It
carries the settings shape, catalog replacement and its capacity fallbacks,
credential references, and the four failures a misconfigured route produces,
and links the generated config catalog for exhaustive fields.

It sits between Quick start and Configuration in the guide sidebar, which is
where a reader hits the question.

Turtle 62d0f26fd6 refactor(cli)!: namespace the profile and bundle manifests under dsh.profile and dsh.bundle
A profile manifest and a bundle manifest are different kinds and shared one
flat `dsh` section: `dsh.plugins` listed bundles (not plugins) and `dsh.patch`
declared a bundle's layer. Each kind now names its role — a bundle declares
`dsh.bundle.patch`, a profile declares `dsh.profile.bundles` — so a
package.json states which role it plays and the list name matches its contents.

`DEFAULT_PROFILE_PLUGINS` becomes `DEFAULT_PROFILE_BUNDLES`, and
`DshManifestSection` splits into `DshBundleManifest`/`DshProfileManifest`.
Pre-release: no compatibility shim; turtle-ui moved with it (bd5ff10).

Turtle 571562788d chore: reconcile extracted foundation with current master 2026-07-29 21:15:42 +08:00
Turtle f290a8b851 refactor(cli)!: one shared base config with per-surface overlays
`dsh` shipped two config trees that were 43 rows the same: apps/cli/cordis.yml
composed web as 74 flat rows, while the TUI booted examples/tui-agent/cordis.yml
whose single `@deepseek-ai/dsh-tui-demo` row mounted twelve plugins behind a
twenty-key pass-through Config. Neither file was what its location claimed —
apps/cli hardcoded the "example" as the product default and the "demo" bundle
was the application — and every capability change had to be made twice.

- apps/cli/base.cordis.yml holds the 43 shared rows; tui.cordis.yml and
web.cordis.yml are patch lists stating only what differs per surface
- overlays apply as SIBLING patch lists at one include level, because include
patches never cross an include boundary. Precedence: base < surface <
  (--config | personal ~/.dsh/config.yaml) < launcher flag/profile patches
- `--config` now applies an overlay INSTEAD OF the personal one, so a demo or
test tree never inherits the user's route; new `--config-replace` boots a file
as the entire tree (the old `--config` behaviour). Both survive /resume
- vendor/include: index each `insert`ed row as it is added so a later patch can
configure or disable it. Upstream built the id index once before the patch
loop, leaving every surface-only row — the whole TUI front door — silently
unpatchable from user config. Logged as local modification 8
- session identity moves to dsh-agent-loop's CONFIGURED_AGENT_IDENTITIES_KEY;
dsh-tui's MAIN_SESSION_ID_KEY is deleted (only the bundle read it)
- delete examples/tui-agent, examples/cordis-agent, packages/examples/tui-demo;
  TUI tests → apps/cli/tests, cordis e2e → packages/cordis/tool-cordis/tests,
examples/code-mode survives as an overlay leaf
- `dsh web` gains --config, threaded into AppCLIEntry as an extra overlay

Three latent defects surfaced and are fixed here: the TUI captured the optional
sessionQuery service once at construction and could permanently disable /resume
when it won the mount race; the session-store root silently reverted to a
project-local ./.sessions; --config-replace was dropped by the resume handoff.

Verified by booting each tree through the real Loader (TUI 55 entries, web 75,
zero unsettled) rather than reading YAML. All eight terminal snapshots replay
byte-identically; 14/14 PTY smoke, 112/112 snapshots, 25/25 doc-sync, hygiene
and lint clean.

Yichen Jiang fee12f1af0 refactor(llm-deepseek)!: rename the provider route to deepseek-official
The native adapter's route was named deepseek, colliding with pi-ai's
catalog provider of the same name, so the two DeepSeek paths could never
be mounted side by side. The web settings page needs both configurable at
once. Compositions, fixtures, goldens, scaffolding defaults, and docs all
move together (pre-release, no shim); TUI/session-query-spill/
missing-credential goldens re-recorded through their keyless refresh
modes because provider-name length shifts box padding and spill
truncation points.
