Move the agent-spine bundle and the stdio/ACP/JSON-RPC app packages out of
core/ and ui/ into a new packages/examples/ group, renamed with a -demo
suffix so the npm name marks them as non-product surface:
core/agent-core -> examples/agent-spine-demo (dsh-agent-spine-demo)
ui/stdio-agent -> examples/stdio-demo (dsh-stdio-demo)
ui/acp-agent -> examples/acp-demo (dsh-acp-demo)
ui/jsonrpc-agent -> examples/jsonrpc-demo (dsh-jsonrpc-demo)
Update every code/config/test reference and reference-only doc mentions, and
regenerate module-graph, config-catalog, and doc-graphs. The jsonrpc bin
(dsh-jsonrpc-agent) and single-file exe (dsh-jsonrpc-agent-pkg) keep their
names; the SDK runtime-startup surface is reconciled separately.
Address the two remaining review warnings on PR #106.
- tools/post-execute: when a downstream listener/policy returns `block`,
return early without loading or attaching workspace instructions. The
registry turns a block into a final isError result, so reconciling off
the original successful result leaked instructions from a rejected call
and advanced nested/baseline tracking off a touch that never happened.
- Disable workspaceContext in the Code Mode examples: fs tools run as
run_code sub-dispatches and code-mode.ts drops sub-call additionalContext,
so dynamic AGENTS.md updates are silently discarded there.
Update the block regression test to assert no context is attached, and add
a waterfall case proving accept still surfaces the discovered instructions.
Both demo:code-mode UIs now share one mechanism: the base example plus a
same-shaped code-mode.cordis.yml include overlay (insert the worker
runtime, flip tools.mode). Previously the REPL side was a hand-forked
example (examples/code-agent) that had also silently diverged — it
dropped compaction and the subagent stack — so the demo's UI argument
switched agents, not just surfaces. The fork is retired: coding-agent
gains the overlay, a Code Mode README section absorbing code-agent's,
and both of its tests (the keyless boot guard, retargeted at the
overlay; the with-key RFC proof, which hand-mounts its own harness and
moves untouched). The RFC's composed-surface and e2e-tier lines, the
examples index, the AGENTS.md smoke table, and the dsh-tools README
link now describe the overlay shape.
Verified live: overlay keyless smoke, with-key code-mode e2e from its
new home, demo:code-mode banner + EOF exit, and the acp handshake.
