Chinesezjc fdcb45b619 fix(web): bound the SGR state and follow real terminal widths
Nine findings, one critical. Terminal cases verified in a real terminal first.

CRITICAL: cells held the accumulated SGR history, so every state boundary
re-emitted the whole chain — output switching color without a full reset
emitted O(n^2) characters. Measured: 3200 such cells produced 25 MB, and the
reviewer's ~90 KB alternating-color case is well under bash's own output cap.
State is now a normalized record (foreground, background, attribute set) with
one canonical sequence per boundary, so the emitted text is linear in cells;
the 90 KB case parses in 36 ms. That also makes the attribute closers every
chalk-based tool writes actually close: `\x1b[1mbold\x1b[22mplain` leaves the
following write PLAIN, which a real terminal confirms.

Width follows emoji presentation, not the U+2600-U+27BF block: `A✓B` redrawn
with `XY` shows `XYB`, so the check every progress line writes is ONE column.
Taking the block as wide misaligned exactly the output this card exists for.

Writing over either half of a wide pair blanks the other, since a terminal
cannot leave one cell of a two-cell glyph standing.

`line\n\x1b[0m` does not end in a newline as a string yet its last parsed line
holds nothing visible, so the terminator check now reads the parsed lines — it
had added a blank row and inflated the collapse count.

A line with no cursor movement no longer builds a column buffer at all; only
its SGR is folded, so an `ls -R` or a 5k-line log allocates nothing per
character.

The `.terminalDescription` rule had been inserted into an existing grouped
selector, silently giving `.codeBody` description typography and changing its
bottom margin from 4px to 0 — a pre-existing surface this PR does not own.
Split out, `.codeBody`'s margin restored.

Three comments contradicted their code: the fixture's exit-marker line (still
claiming recovery from a marker deliberately removed), `bash-sample`'s header
(still routing a click to the details panel, and calling the consumer's cap the
block's own), and a DetailsPanel comment stacked above the wrong rule. The
ui-primitives README documented only the CR/BS half of the replay, so a reader
would expect `OK0%` where `100%\r\x1b[KOK` renders `OK`.

Chinesezjc b588060b90 fix(web): close a run at the line end and count columns correctly
Eight findings, each terminal case verified in a real terminal first:

`\x1b[32mdone\rok\x1b[0m` then `plain` shows `okne` green and `plain` in the
DEFAULT color. The replay returned the last written cell's state, so a reset
landing after the final write vanished from both the text and the returned
state — and every build tool writes exactly that shape, so the color leaked
onto all later output. The replay now converges to the state the scan ended
in, which is also what it hands to the next line.

`abcd\b\x1b[1K|` shows ` |`: CSI 1K erases THROUGH the cursor column, and
the loop stopped before it. The erase mode also reads only the first
parameter now, since a terminal treats `1;2K` exactly as `1K`.

`éx\rYZ` shows `YZ`: a combining mark takes no column, so it attaches
to the cell already written instead of advancing the cursor and leaving the
`x` standing.

`中x\rA` shows `A x`: overwriting a wide character's lead cell leaves its
spacer as a blank rather than closing the gap, which would shift everything
after it one column left.

The banner lost its span when the gutter became padding — a plain block child
only reaches the content box, so the reserved column was painted in the body
color and the card's top-left radius drawn in it. Invisible in the light
theme, where banner and body share a token; visible in the dark one. The
header now pulls back across the gutter and re-insets by the same amount.

The replay trigger matches the same CSI shape the parser accepts, so a form
like `\x1b[1;2K` can no longer skip its own erase, and `replayLine`'s JSDoc
documents its new parameter and returned pair.

Docs: four places still described the dot as sitting left of the card surface,
which stopped being true when the gutter became the card's own padding, and
two fixture comments still referenced the exit marker that was deliberately
removed.

Chinesezjc 43de478d10 fix(web): model erase-in-line, tab stops, and cross-line SGR
Six findings. Each terminal-semantics case was checked in a real terminal
(tmux, reading back the painted screen) before changing anything:

`100%\r\x1b[KOK` shows `OK`. Modelling the `\r` without its erase left the
previous frame's tail standing — a regression against the old truncate, since
`\r\x1b[K` is the single idiom every spinner and progress bar writes. Erase is
now part of the same replay, in all three parameter forms.

`a\tb\rXY` shows `XY b`. Counting a tab as one column produced `XYb` and
destroyed the alignment this card exists to hold, so the cursor now advances
by terminal columns: tabs reach the next 8-column stop and a wide character
takes two cells.

`\x1b[31mabc\rX\nnext` paints BOTH lines red. A newline does not reset the
graphic state, so state threads from one replayed line to the next instead of
closing at each line end.

Only `m` accumulates into a cell's style now. Folding cursor and erase
sequences in grew the state string per redraw and emitted boundaries anser
had to discard.

The empty check reads the parsed lines the card renders rather than the raw
text: output that is only escapes or control bytes survives `trim()` yet
parses to nothing, and drew blank rows plus a copy control for invisible
bytes instead of the placeholder.

The gutter is the card's own left padding rather than a margin. Every render
site rewrites `margin` wholesale for its own indent, which silently cancelled
the reservation and let a container clip the dot.

The fixture sample no longer carries an `[exit code: 1]` line: the real bash
presenter consumes that marker precisely because the card shows the exit as
its own pill, so the built-bundle snapshot had pinned a frame showing it
twice — one the product path cannot produce.

Chinesezjc 439c206658 fix(web): honor the terminal view's description and resolved workdir
Three review findings, each verified against the presentation contract:

The call view's `description` was dropped, so a presenter that authors one
(`terminal_send` declares `Terminal <id>`) lost the contract's above-card text
and the row fell back to an unrelated args-derived summary. It now rides the
same derivation and outranks that summary.

A relative workdir was concatenated but never normalized, while the bash
executor resolves it before running: with session cwd `/w/app` and workdir
`..` the command runs in `/w`, yet the card displayed the label `..`. The
resolved path now collapses `.`/`..` segments, drops a `..` that would climb
past a root the way a filesystem does, and keeps a Windows path's separators
since the value is only ever displayed.

`run_code` sub-dispatches carry no presenter views on the shipped wire —
`session.ts` folds `tool/code-dispatch(-start)` with null views and the host's
`viewFor` presents only top-level call/result events — so a nested bash call
cannot reach a terminal card. The existing test only passed by injecting views
that path cannot produce; it now says so, and a second arm pins the no-view
shape the wire actually delivers.

Restoring master's fixture also fixed the todo snapshot lane, which my earlier
merge had broken by dropping the projection support the todo dock reads. The
terminal sample turn moved ahead of the todo turn, because the standing plan
retires at the next `turn/start` and a turn appended after it emptied the dock.

The card props are now nested under `card` so a render site spreads exactly the
primitive's own surface, and the fixture reads each sample's authored exit
status instead of re-implementing the bash tool's `parseExitStatus`.

creatixchu baaa535235 fix(host): race directory reads against the caller's signal; report aborts as cancelled
Every filesystem await in the browse scan (opendir and each read) now
races the signal through raceAbort, so a stalled network open/read stops
with a departed caller and an already-aborted request rejects even for
an empty level; the abandoned settlement is swallowed and an abandoned
open that still mints a handle is closed, never leaked. apiproxy maps an
aborted listing to the cancelled wire code, matching pickDirectory and
command.execute, instead of reporting a false internal failure. The
fixture spec call sites gain the wire signal argument the previous
commit's static lane flagged.

creatixchu 7503390590 fix(host): cancellable listing scans and O(log window) insertion
capability.list gains an optional AbortSignal threaded from the RPC
carrier's request signal (the pickDirectory pattern): a disconnected or
timed-out caller stops the opendir loop instead of the scan outliving
its caller, and the abort surfaces as its own reason rather than a
directory-unreadable dressing. boundedInsert rejects a full window's
at-or-beyond-tail candidate on one comparison and binary-inserts
retained candidates, so an oversized level no longer pays a window scan
per dirent.

imccyu 40e3e10831 Merge origin/master (plan line #590) into web-permission-sandbox-merge-master
Shared-surface conflicts resolve as unions: the fixture serves all five
projection keys (title/todos/permissions/plan/goal) with the /permission
and /plan command mirrors side by side, the connection specs assert the
five-key baseline and the shifted approval/question replay indices, and
the cli roster/deps, tsconfig aggregate, and README allowlist carry both
lines' rows. Plan-side content lands verbatim from master.

One end-state consolidation both branches half-did: with questions
(ui-question) and approvals (ApprovalPanel) each owning a composer
takeover, PendingCard retires outright — ChatView renders no pending
placeholder, the card component and its specs go, and both README halves
state the takeover-only contract.

creatixchu 5245182db2 fix(host): bound listDirectory levels at a configurable maxEntries
One list call now materializes at most maxEntries child rows (config,
default 1000 - GitHub's web-UI directory-listing bound). Candidates sort
before probing so a cut level keeps the name-sorted head and symlink
probing stops with the bound, and DirectoryListing carries a required
truncated flag on the seam and the wire so clients can state
incompleteness instead of silently missing tail entries.

imccyu 0477f33079 feat(fixture): mirror the goal domain — /goal command, six verbs, projection unit
The keyless fixture now carries the goal chain end to end, mirroring the
host: /goal enters the command catalog and its execute path brackets a
goal/change create with the command lifecycle pair; the six mutation verbs
CAS-check the projected current goal and append whole-value changes (the
shared append path broadcasts the session event and the goal projection
frame); the tail-page projections block and the mux-open baseline always
carry the goal key (null before create / after clear). Connection specs
follow: the lifecycle round-trip replaces the not-implemented stubs, and
the mux baseline expects the third unit frame.

Also: GoalBar inline errors use ASCII parens around the code (review
feedback on #842).

imccyu 970b432227 fix(plan): commit an idle selection immediately
set() on an idle agent appends plan/mode at once — no request boundary
would arrive until the next prompt, so a queued intent used to hang as
pending forever (the composer showed a dead pending target). A running
agent keeps the boundary-flush path unchanged. set() now reports which
branch ran (committed/queued/cancelled/noop); the /plan handler's copy
follows the branch (idle: "Plan mode on/off", mid-turn: the next-step
wording), and both commit paths share the header-delta narration. The
invariant drops turn enclosure: plan/mode is a standalone whole-value
event (the synthetic log-only turns removal already established the
between-turns append shape). The fixture mirrors the idle commit.

imccyu 25265b312c feat(web): projection-fed permission chip replaces the Access placeholder
PermissionSelect returns as the Access seat's wired occupant: options and
the current value read from the 'permissions' projection through the
standard-kit useProjection (no fetch, no mount timing — the resident
composer's mount-once fetch bug dies with the fetch), key absence renders
nothing (permission-less host, or a Draft with no session), and a pick
submits the '/permission <preset>' command line through the new
ComposerBarInjected.command callback (Session.command = command.execute
admission; the pushed projection frame lands the confirmed value). The
READONLY_OPTIONS placeholder and its local state leave InputBar.

The connection fixture mirrors the host: a permissions unit fold (three
knob events over the fixture preset table), the projections block +
baseline/push frames carry the key, and /permission joins the command
catalog with the same switch-through-knob-events handler shape.

Drop the assertions eslint proved unnecessary (getByRole gains the element

the fixture's command args without String()'s object stringification arm.

creatixchu 85ca8be104 feat(host, client): compose directory picking through slots — dual-face -native, no wire advertisement
ui-workspace's two trigger surfaces each declare a single-kind directory-flow
hole (conversation.hero.workspace.directoryFlow / sidebar.workspaces.directoryFlow,
same owner contract) and keep only the trigger and the adoption: the Open-local-
folder entry renders while the surface's hole is occupied, and the occupant
reports one picked path per open through the hole's owner conversation
(open/busy/onPicked/onCancel/onError).

directory-picker-native becomes dual-face: its browser half fills both holes
with a renderless occupant driving host.pickDirectory, so the cordis.yml row
that mounts the backend also composes the client interaction — a mismatch is
impossible and a second flow package fails at client load.

With composition wiring both sides, the host.describe.directoryPicker
advertisement and the client's kind branching lose their last consumer:
the field, WorkspacesService.directoryPickerKind(), the DirectoryPickerKind
wire type, and the picker's per-open describe read are deleted. The connection
fixture now serves a deterministic pickDirectory path so the keyless snapshot
drives the full pick-then-adopt flow. ui-workspace's hand-rolled declaration
deferral is replaced by the deferRegistration helper it duplicated.

imccyu c6b552e817 refactor(web): drop the permission RPC pair and turn-anchoring machinery
The session.permissions/setPermission unary pair, the PermissionOption wire
DTO, the client Session wrappers, and the fixture/fake mirrors all leave the
wire: the read side moves to the 'permissions' session projection and the
write side moves to the /permission command in follow-up commits, so the
web protocol gains no permission methods at all.

The pendingSwitches + prompt-submit flush + hasOpenTurn move also goes.
Knob events no longer need turn enclosure: the persistence scanner keeps
standalone events after the last turn/end as part of the preserved prefix
(remove-synthetic-log-only-turns), none of the three knob invariants demand
an open turn, and the setters append bare events. An idle switch commits
immediately; hasOpenTurn stays a user-approval private fold (its audit pair
is the one contract that still requires enclosure).

The old PermissionSelect chip and its mount-time fetch die with the RPCs
(the resident composer broke the mount-once assumption); the projection-fed
replacement lands with the Access seat swap.

imccyu 1c2923c84f feat(web): re-land the goals wire domain as mutation-only ref acknowledgements
Six mutation RPCs (create/edit/pause/resume/complete/clear) move into
dsh-host-apiproxy (the PR's host/runtime carrier is gone): goalService()
resolves ctx.get('goals') with a loud absence error, mutateGoal() resolves
the session's agent (agentFor, the command.* implicit-resume precedent) and
acknowledges with the new CAS ref only. GoalError codes ride err.details.

goal.get and the wire GoalView/goalViewSchema are gone: the read side is the
'goal' session projection (whole values on the history tail page and
session/projection frames), so responses never feed client state — the rule
whose absence forced the original PR's write-revision fences.

imccyu cbab62bdea Merge origin/master into goal-ui: adopt the rewritten client core and apiproxy carrier
Conflict rulings follow the projection-reattach plan:
- host/runtime package (deleted on master): take master; the PR's boot

re-landed in dsh-host-apiproxy; the session.prompt slash interception and
its spec are dropped entirely (superseded by command.execute + command/run
  logging).
- client core (rewritten on master): take master; the PR's Session goal
fields/methods, ConversationSnapshot.goal, goalActions injection, and the
hard-mounted GoalBar are all superseded by the 'goal' session projection
(useProjection) and will return as the ui-goal plugin.
- wire contract: union of master's workspace/command/skill domains and the
PR's goal domain, minus goal.get (the read side is the projection block +
session/projection frames; six mutation RPCs stay).
- GoalBar component and spec leave ui-conversation (they re-land in the new
  ui-goal package); IconSparkle16 stays in ui-conversation chat.
- The web-slash-command-dispatch note documents the dropped interception and
is removed; the goal-bar note will be rewritten for the projection model.
- pnpm-lock.yaml taken from master (reinstall recomputes).

Chinesezjc a00678a444 feat(web): give a multi-line command one prompt row per line
A `command` carrying two shell commands on two lines rendered as one row:
`.command` had `white-space: nowrap`, so the two collapsed into a single
ellipsized line that read as one command with stray arguments.

Render one prompt row per command line, and move the run-state dot out of
flow into a gutter reserved to the left of the card surface, so it neither
indents its command nor depends on the command's text metrics to line up.

The dot stays exactly one per card, on the first row. The exit status the
view carries is the whole call's and bash reports no per-command status, so
a dot per line would assert, of a line that succeeded inside a failing call,
that the line itself failed. The single visually hidden label keeps the same
scope, since one label per row would read to assistive technology as several
distinct outcomes.

Fixture turn 60's command becomes two lines, so the built-bundle snapshot
pins the layout and its dot distribution (`dotsPerPromptRow: [1, 0]`), and
the e2e adds that the dot starts left of the card surface — geometry jsdom
cannot compute. Both READMEs now also record that this package's
user-facing copy is inline Chinese, since zero-cordis atoms have no route to
`ctx.locale`; extracting it belongs to the repo-wide localization work.

creatixchu c565022c8a fix(host): derive the picker capability union from a merge-extensible map
ds-review-bot round 1: the seam documented a merge-extensible union but
shipped a closed alias, and the gateway schema rejected any kind beyond
dialog/browse — a third backend could neither implement the seam nor be
advertised. The union now derives from an augmentable DirectoryPickerCapabilities
map, host.describe.directoryPicker preserves unknown wire kinds, and the
browse fixture applies listDirectory's root special case so creating under
'/' no longer mints a '//name' identity.

creatixchu 772653464d fix(connection): hold markerless requests to the Host fence — plain-HTTP browser reads carry no markers
Fetch-Metadata and Origin are only attached to trustworthy destinations, so
over plain HTTP a rebound page's same-origin GET (EventSource, images,
navigations) arrives with no browser markers and a readable response. Remove
the marker shortcut; non-browser clients pass the same fence via loopback,
the CLI-derived LAN IP literals, or a declared authority.

creatixchu 7ff8da56df fix(connection): require trustedHosts entries in canonical authority form
A dangling colon (harness.internal:) or zero-padded port parses cleanly while
WHATWG silently rewrites it, turning an intended exact-port grant into an
any-port grant. Replace the character blacklist with a round-trip check: an
entry must read back from parsing exactly as written (case aside), refusing
the whole rewrite class at load.

creatixchu 34518cb012 fix(connection): judge an entry's explicit port from the parsed URL, not the raw string
WHATWG trimming strips stray whitespace before parsing, so 'host:port ' passed
the load assert while the raw-string port regex read it as port-less —
broadening an exact-port grant to every port on that hostname. The explicit-
port judgment now reads URL parses under both special schemes (:80/:443 stay
explicit), and the load assert refuses whitespace outright.

creatixchu b9cbe2f029 fix(connection): fail the load on a trustedHosts entry that is not a bare authority
WHATWG parsing would quietly read a hostname out of harness.internal/path or
user@harness.internal, authorizing the typo's hostname; other typos would sit
silently ignored until requests 403. Refuse every URL part beyond host[:port]
at plugin load.

creatixchu 7fd2abd828 feat(host): directory-picker capability seam with dialog and browse backends
The web GUI's folder picking was hardwired to one interaction: a native
OS chooser compiled into the gateway, unusable for remote deployments
and swappable only by editing apiproxy source.

Directory picking becomes a three-package capability seam in
packages/host: ctx.directoryPicker returns a discriminated capability —
dialog (the extracted native chooser; host-display only) or browse
(new: one-level listing + child creation over Node stdlib, hidden flags
host-stamped, symlinks followed, ancestry crumbs; remote-capable). The
gateway injects the seam, advertises the kind via
host.describe.directoryPicker, serves host.listDirectory /
host.createDirectory under browse, and answers
directory-picker-unavailable across kinds. cordis.yml is the swap
point; apps/cli keeps dialog mounted, so behavior is unchanged until
the in-app browser PR flips the default. The connection fixture serves
a deterministic browse tree; WorkspacesService gains the browse calls
the browser UI will drive. Decision record:
