kingwl 95635dfa66 feat(permission): user-facing permission presets — one Permissions select over the two knobs
A preset names a bundle of the two mechanism knobs — request =
workspace-write + ask, yolo = danger-full-access + never — so the editor
shows ONE 'Permissions' select where the sandbox-mode and approval-policy
tiers stay orthogonal capabilities (the Codex /approvals shape: presets over
two dials). ctx.permission (dsh-permission) owns the config-defined table,
validates the default preset's bundle against the composed knob defaults at
load (fails loud), and writes a switch THROUGH: one log-only
permission/preset event (the audit fact reverse-mapping cannot recover —
the planned 'agent' preset shares request's knob values and differs only in
composed policy) plus each knob event via its own setter, deduped — a
net-zero switch appends nothing. Every knob consumer keeps reading its own
fold, untouched.

The current preset DERIVES from the effective knob values — the fold breaks
bundle ties, a knob state outside the table is the reserved 'custom' value
(a state, not an error: shown while it holds, switchable FROM, never a
target), and defaultPreset disappears (zero-event state reverse-maps from
the composition defaults).

The ACP bridge drops the two per-knob selects for the one preset select
(advertised only when ctx.permission is composed); pending/anchor/no-op
semantics carry over unchanged, with the no-op echo acknowledged before
vocabulary validation so a client re-pushing a derived 'custom' current
never errors. The sandbox variant example composes the
service with a workspace-write default; the permission-switching,
escalation-approved and escalation-rejected scenarios are re-recorded under
it (escalations now target an outside-workspace /tmp path under
danger-full-access, self-cleaning) and config-options is re-authored on the
single-select wire.

Tianyi Cui b29a8eca71 fix(review): reconcile sandbox and approval contracts 2026-07-11 21:37:38 +08:00
kingwl 3f663c9154 feat(modes): per-session sandbox/approval switching — the session log as the store, ACP config options
effective(session) = findLast(the session own knob events)?.value ?? the
composition-config default. One log-only event per knob, owned by its
domain (bash/sandbox-mode in dsh-bash, approval/policy in dsh-approval),
each exporting the same three-piece kit: the event declaration, a pure
fold, and THE write path — a switch IS its event; no owner service, no
facts map. Restart immunity and multi-session isolation fall out of the
log replay by construction.

Execution follows the fold on both sides: the bash tool stamps
escalation grant > session override > executor default, and the approval
seam prepends the never-gate that auto-rejects before any interactive
answerer. Visibility is two layers per knob: a per-agent prompt section
states the effective value on every request (logged through
request/header*, so what-the-model-was-told replays from the log), and an
agent/pre-step narrator injects at most one coalesced delta notice with
positional attribution (user switch vs operator/config drift). The ACP
bridge advertises one capability-gated select per composable knob with
currentValue folded per session, validates set_config_option against the
closed vocabularies, and anchors idle switches at the next turn
prompt-submit under the turn-enclosure contract.

kingwl 80d8726601 feat(acp): the bridge approval answerer + scripted permission answers
The ACP bridge registers the first real approval answerer: an ask for an
agent it owns becomes session/request_permission attached to the already-
streamed tool call (one-shot allow_once/reject_once only), outcomes map
conservatively (unknown optionId never grants, client cancel → cancelled),
and foreign or call-less requests delegate down the waterfall. The snapshot
harness accepts scripted permissionAnswers (FIFO; an unscripted prompt
answers cancelled, fail closed) so recorded scenarios can drive the wire
keylessly.

Tianyi Cui bd7fb31ae3 feat(tool-fs): editor-facing presentation for read/write/edit
The fs tools rendered as generic cards (title = tool name, raw file content) in
an ACP editor. Give them tool-owned presentation like bash/subagent have:

- read → title "Read <path>", kind read, offset/limit as rawInput
- write → title "Write <path>", kind edit
- edit → title "Edit <path>", kind edit, a clipped old→new rawInput summary

Add a provider-neutral `locations: { path, line? }[]` to ToolCallPresentation —
the files a call reads/modifies — so a capable editor can follow along / jump to
the file (read carries its offset as the line). The ACP bridge forwards it onto
the wire `tool_call` (ResolvedCallPresentation + call() + the tool_call build in
streamSessionEventUpdate). This flips the `locations` cell in the ACP feature
matrix to supported. The SDK already carries `tool_call.locations`
(ToolCallLocation `{ path, line? }`), so no ACP types leak into dsh-tools.

presentResult is intentionally omitted: it only receives `{ content, isError }`,
not the write/edit outcome, so titling by create-vs-overwrite or replacement
count would mean parsing the model-facing text — the static title stays.

Tests: pure presentCall assertions for all three tools incl. locations and the
edit rawInput clip; a bridge test drives the REAL fs tools through ToolPresenter
and asserts locations reaches the wire tool_call (proven to fail without the
forwarding line). New withFs harness option + dsh-fs devDeps on dsh-acp.

Tianyi Cui 46e31d8481 feat(tool-todo): add the model-facing todo_write tool
Add @deepseek-ai/dsh-tool-todo (a new packages/todo/ group): a model-facing
todo_write(todos: [{content, status}]) tool with whole-list-replace semantics.
Each call appends the full list as a todo/write event to the calling agent's
session log; the current list is the most recent such event (last-write-wins).
Single-owner — a non-agent caller is rejected. Beyond the schema's
type/required/enum checks, execute rejects empty/duplicate content and more than
one in_progress task, narrowing the loosely-typed args into a real TodoItem[].

Both UIs render off the existing session/event: the stdio UI prints a glyphed
checklist; the ACP bridge maps the list to a `plan` sessionUpdate (todosToPlan
synthesizes the priority ACP requires; status maps 1:1). Wired into the
coding-agent, acp-agent, and snapshot example configs with a system-prompt nudge.

Tests: unit (schema, validation, append/replace, no-agent rejection, presentCall,
HMR-safety, Loader export-shape guard), full-loop integration through the agent
loop, the ACP todosToPlan mapping + stream-update arm, the stdio render arm, and
a session/load replay that re-emits the plan. New-group TS wiring added to
tsconfig.base/json/build. RFC + a doc-inventory sweep (architecture, packages
README, AGENTS layout, cookbook group list, example READMEs) ship with it.

The todo-plan ACP snapshot scenario is recorded separately (needs an API key).

Tianyi Cui d02e9f1bd6 Reorganize packages into a modular hierarchy
Move the 18 flat packages/<name> packages into role-grouped dirs:
core/, llm/, bash/, session-persistence/, ui/, support/. Group dirs are
pure containers; each package keeps its @deepseek-ai/dsh-* name.

Collapse the per-package tsconfig paths maps (base + typecheck) into one
@deepseek-ai/dsh-* wildcard with a candidate per group, and derive the
publint list from the hierarchy. Update all depth-coupled globs/configs
(workspace, tsdown, vitest, eslint, knip, tsconfig includes/refs,
per-package tsconfigs, generators, doc-script scopes, type-equiv manifest)
and the cross-package/script relative imports in tests.

Fix doc-typecheck's workspacePaths() to parse tsconfig JSONC via the
TypeScript API instead of a regex comment-strip, which corrupted the
new wildcard `/*/` path candidates.

WIP: doc cross-links and package/RFC docs still to update.
