`select.input` caps the control at 240px, and a `<select>` carrying only
`.input` keeps the OS arrow, which paints flush inside that shrunk right
edge — visibly tighter than every other control on the page. Both
protocol dropdowns took `.input` alone; the provider select beside them
already added `.selectInput`, which removes the OS arrow, reserves the
right pad, and paints the shared 12px chevron.
The stylesheet spec now reads the package's own sources and fails any
`<select>` that takes `.input` without `.selectInput`, so the next one
cannot be added bare.
Resolves the vendored-package rescope (cordis -> @deepseek-ai/cordis,
schemastery -> @deepseek-ai/schemastery) against this branch's settings
namespaces: the bash capability namespace, its two executors' section
installs, and the new plugin-config client package all move to the scoped
specifiers.
Resolve modify/delete conflict on
.agents/notes/implemented/process/2026-08-08-native-windows-pull-request-ci.i18n.yaml:
accept deletion — the note triplet was archived to archived/process/.
The vendored Cordis rescope (`cordis` -> `@deepseek-ai/cordis`,
`@cordisjs/plugin-*` -> `@deepseek-ai/cordis-plugin-*`) collided with this
branch's two added edges. Resolved by taking master's package names and
keeping this branch's additions: `@deepseek-ai/dsh-agent` and
`@deepseek-ai/dsh-system-prompt` peers, the `scopeChainOf` import, and the
`agent/created` type-only edge.
`docs/event-producer-consumer.*` is generated; regenerated after the merge
rather than hand-resolved.

Controls committed on blur, which turned leaving a field into a durable,
revision-fenced document write the user could neither preview nor undo, and
silently discarded a draft the field did not accept.
A card's form now owns the staged text every control renders, and Save is the
only point where drafts become writes. Reset stages the composed default the
same way; an invalid draft blocks the save with its reason instead of being
dropped; Discard drops the drafts; a collapsed card marks that it holds some.
The Host stays the only authority on whether a value was accepted, so the save
reads the section back and keeps the drafts of a save that did not land.
The Models editor card curated its pi-ai fields by what every route has,
so `displayName` and `api` — the two a hand-declared route names for
itself — were asked for at creation and then reachable only through
settings.yaml. The editor now renders both for a route the directory
reports as declared, from the same namespace schema the create card
reads. A catalog route gets neither: it defaults its name from its
catalog entry, and its models each carry their own protocol, so a
route-level one could only override all of them.
Clearing the name unsets it and the route falls back to its id, which is
what the field's placeholder shows; storing the empty string would be
refused by the adapter. A declared profile naming no protocol selects
nothing rather than reading as if it had picked the first choice.
The Provider ID stays fixed: it is the settings dict key, it is
referenced from `agent-default-model` and every logged request header,
and it is the stem of a credential reference the page can never read
back to move.
Fixes#2204
Moving the agent plane behind presets left two readers on the wrong side of
the host/agent line.
`dsh-token-meter` was disabled on the host and mounted inside each preset's
`compaction` realm, but its three projection units register into the
process-wide `sessionProjections` table. A unit registered from one preset
answers for every session, so whether a `minimal` session showed a context
meter depended on whether some other session had mounted `standard` since
boot, and a process that only ever ran `minimal` showed none. The meter takes
no configuration, keys every fold by Session, and registers no tool or prompt
section, so it returns to the host composition and leaves the presets'
`isolate` map; the realm and `compact-basic` stay, because what a preset
chooses is whether its agent compacts, not whether its tokens are counted.
Nothing named an agent that joined no preset. The join is a scope-parent link,
and without it the tools, prompt-section, and skill views resolve the empty
global layer: the agent publishes, the turn runs, and the model receives
nothing. `AgentPresets` now logs one warning per such agent while a roster is
configured, and the invariant companion fails outright — at
`system-prompt/assemble` rather than at publication, because an unjoined agent
is legal until it addresses a model and `recompose` binds exactly such an
agent. The warning stays advisory: a synchronous `agent/created` throw vetoes
publication, and the ACP bridge, SDK server, and headless bundle all create an
unjoined agent today.
Three limits are recorded rather than fixed: projection key presence is not a
per-session capability signal, a superseded standing generation is never
reclaimed, and a `cordis_mount` temporary plugin belongs to the composition
rather than the session that mounted it.

Replace the Wine-emulated windows job and the independent windows-native
job with a single required native Windows job that runs
check:ci:windows-complete on the hosted larger runner, falling back to
the self-hosted [self-hosted, dsh-win-ci, windows] pool under failover
(DSH_CI_FAILOVER=selfhosted). The serial-windows standby mirrors
serial-linux-selfhosted: master-only, unsharded, self-hosted, absent
from all-checks-passed.
Remove wine-apt-cache, the check:windows-wine script reference, and the
dual-lane topology the two Windows notes described.
Machine-produced by `pnpm run rescope-vendor --apply` plus the regeneration it
prints: `pnpm install` for the lockfile, `pnpm run gen-third-party-notices`,
`verify-translation-pairing --write` for the touched bilingual pairs,
`gen-doc-graphs`, and one typert snapshot whose ids embed character offsets.
`pnpm run rescope-vendor --check` verifies the result.
Renames nine vendored packages (cordis, cosmokit, schemastery and the six
@cordisjs plugins) and every reference that resolves them: manifest names and
dependency keys, module specifiers including declare-module merges, cordis.yml
plugin names, tsconfig paths, every Markdown fence, and `docs/` prose.
Directory names, upstream versions, and dependency ranges are unchanged, so
vendor/README.md still reads as an upstream snapshot; its manifest table gains
an upstream-name column so THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES keeps MIT attribution pointed
at each fork's origin.
The tutorial tier follows the rename end to end: its yaml fences named plugins
the Loader can no longer resolve, its `ts ignore-check` fences disagreed with
the compiled fences beside them, and its prose quoted both. The contracts that
told readers to keep upstream names — the root convention and the vendoring
cookbook's tree comment and manifest invariant — now say to rescope instead.
Two rules read `@deepseek-ai/` as "another workspace plugin": the client bundle
purity gate now names the vendored libraries a browser bundle inlines, and the
files where a bare `cordis` is an agent-preset id keep that product data.
Two sites reached a registry for the vendored framework, which the rescope
turns from a silent second copy into a hard failure.
Live-link mode relinked only the root manifest, so a generated workspace member
— `plugins/*/package.json` — resolved its own dependencies from the registry
and installed upstream cordis beside this repository's vendored copy.
`LinkWorkspace.relinkNestedManifest()` relinks every nested generated manifest;
`peerDependencies` keeps its range because package managers reject a link spec
there.
The sandbox publish-path rehearsal installs this repository's vendored cordis
and cosmokit tarballs instead of naming a registry version.
Every harness package declares cordis as a peer dependency, so publishing the
harness publishes the vendored framework layer too; under the upstream names
that publication would squat them on the registry.
scripts/rescope-vendor.ts owns the rename: the nine-package mapping, a
delimited-token rule that leaves cordis.yml, the Loader's cordis: builtins and
vendor directory names alone, per-file exemptions where a name is a directory
or an upstream runtime identifier, and the exact edits for sites a token rule
cannot express — dot-notation lookups, unquoted manifest keys, a regex literal
whose failure would make every Context-merge scan silently find nothing, the
vendored-manifest table, and the contracts that told readers vendored packages
keep their upstream names.
Markdown follows the rename inside every fence, because a fence is code a
reader copies or configuration they mount, and in `docs/` prose as well, where
a sentence quoting a name teaches something this repository no longer resolves.
Prose elsewhere records what was true when it was written, and the same
spelling can mean something else: the Python SDK's `cordis` option, or the
unvendored `@cordisjs/plugin-http`. `docs/rescope.md` states both names on
purpose and is exempt.
exactEditState() classifies every exact edit as pending, applied, or invalid.
An insertion keeps its anchor and a deletion keeps its remainder, so each side
counts the form that survives: a duplicated insertion, a half-applied
replacement, and a deletion whose remainder moved are all invalid. The run
classifies every edit before writing anything and aborts on the first invalid
one, so a disagreement between the mapping and the tree cannot leave a
half-rescoped checkout; each write re-reads its file, because two edits can
target one. rescope-vendor.spec.ts pins those rejections, and --check asserts
the whole post-state from the hygiene gate, so CI owns the invariant.
--reverse restores the upstream names, verified as a round trip: reverse, then
apply, reproduces this tree byte for byte.
docs/rescope.md is the consumer-facing reference: the old-name/new-name table
with each package's role, what the rename deliberately leaves alone, the sites
callers must change, and the commands to apply, verify, and revert. The Agent
Note carries the decision and its consequences.
The rename itself lands in the next commit, produced by running the script.
