imccyu 86549943ec Merge origin/master (goal line #527) into web-permission-sandbox-merge-master
Shared-surface conflicts resolve as unions: the fixture serves all four
projection keys (title/todos/permissions/goal) with both the /permission
and /goal command mirrors (the goal-fixture placeholder retires with
master), apps/cli carries both lines' dependency additions, and the README
Model Experience allowlist keeps both entries. The connection specs assert
the four-key baseline and the shifted approval/question replay indices;
the module graph regenerates over the merged dependency set.

imccyu 15c1976472 Merge origin/master (SessionFace contract) into web-permission-sandbox-merge-master
Three ui-conversation spec conflicts resolve to master's SlotTestRuntime
rewrites. Adaptation to the new outward session face: ISession gains the
command verb (the composer chip and the /permission picker submit through
it), FixtureSession grows the matching fail-loud stub plus the
waitingApproval summary default, and the picker reads the projection
through projections.faceOf (the ProjectionsFace shape) instead of the
retired store getter.

imccyu 0477f33079 feat(fixture): mirror the goal domain — /goal command, six verbs, projection unit
The keyless fixture now carries the goal chain end to end, mirroring the
host: /goal enters the command catalog and its execute path brackets a
goal/change create with the command lifecycle pair; the six mutation verbs
CAS-check the projected current goal and append whole-value changes (the
shared append path broadcasts the session event and the goal projection
frame); the tail-page projections block and the mux-open baseline always
carry the goal key (null before create / after clear). Connection specs
follow: the lifecycle round-trip replaces the not-implemented stubs, and
the mux baseline expects the third unit frame.

Also: GoalBar inline errors use ASCII parens around the code (review
feedback on #842).

imccyu f42d9653c1 Merge origin/master (session ISession face) and adapt the goal ref read
The runtime's new outward session contract exposes projections as a
ProjectionsFace (faceOf only); the ui-goal verb closure reads the current
value through faceOf('goal').getSnapshot() instead of the store-level get.
Catalogs regenerated after the merge.

The sparkle glyph gained a second consumer (GoalBar beside the Others

the package-local-until-shared rule its comment recorded has run its
course. Both copies collapse into the shared ic_ds_* family; the icon-set

imccyu 728d28e7e4 test: close the coverage gaps on the permission line
Two real branches gain assertions (effectivePermissionPreset's backward
scan over non-preset events; the popup options() throw when the projection
vanished between availability and open — a sync throw, not a rejection).
The empty ui-permission node half joins the ui-model entry on the
client-lane coverage debt list (same pure-UI plugin shape, same TODO).

imccyu db0292ffdb docs: regenerate catalogs and sync bilingual READMEs for the permission surfaces
gen-cordis-catalog/api, config/persistence catalogs, module graph, and doc
graphs pick up the ui-permission package, the permissions projection key,
and the /permission command; KnobState and PermissionSelect join the
type-link exemptions (owned by the permission package's own docs), and
ui-permission joins the sentence Model Experience allowlist (indirect via
the host command). The ui-conversation and dsh-permission READMEs gain
their zh halves for the approval/chip and projection/command paragraphs;
all three touched pairs re-record.

imccyu 3e6a7fea43 test(ui-sidebar): pin the shell chrome with local DOM snapshots
First consumer of the runtime's single-slot mounting: the real apply mounts
on its own fiber, renderSlot('sidebar', ...) captures exactly the sidebar
slot's output, and update() re-renders the collapsed rail in place. The
.snap files carry semantic class names and svg fingerprints only.

imccyu a3f9a4d3ee test(client): migrate the ui-conversation and web benches onto SlotTestRuntime
The five ui-conversation machinery specs (apply-inject, chat-apply,
chat-toolview-slot, service-orchestration, selection-survival — now .tsx)
and the web app/app-shell specs assemble through the runtime instead of
hand-built Context + SlotsService + fake-session scaffolding per suite.
Session behavior mocks are typed against ISession, so incomplete fakes
fail at compile time.

imccyu 3f7a8c6f8e feat(client): add the dsh-client-test-runtime package
A jsdom slot test runtime for feature specs: a real Cordis Context, the
production SlotsService and web-react renderer, and typed session/workspace
doubles (TestSessions implements ISessions with FixtureSession sessions;
TestWorkspaces implements IWorkspaces), so the compiler flags fixture drift
when a production face changes. Fixtures feed plain data: list rows,
conversation snapshots, and ISession-typed behavior stubs; provide-bundle
materialization runs the shared SessionProvideChannel.

DOM snapshot support: declare()/renderSlot() mount a single slot inside a
data-slot wrapper for local .snap capture, and a snapshot serializer folds
CSS-module class hashes to their semantic locals and collapses svg internals
to a content fingerprint. The typed provide() constrains declared-service
fakes to Partial of the service's outward face.

imccyu 1c43ff3061 test(goal): close the per-file coverage gaps for the goal surface
- projection.spec covers applyGoalProjection's non-message early return and
the foreign-change-kind arm directly (the pure-function posture the unit
requires — a throwing apply would tear down the registry drive).
- New ui-goal browser-plugin spec exercises the plugin body over a real
cordis Context with fake faces: dock registration (id/order), verbs
reading the CAS ref from the current projected value, the
no-current-goal short circuit, RPC-error mapping, HMR disposal, the
GoalDock adapter's three projection states, and the inert node half.

imccyu 0efc7f045e refactor(client): carve outward interfaces for the session, workspace, layout, slash, and conversation services
Feature packages now reach these domains through interface types only:
ISession/SessionFace (identity + prompt/cancel/loadOlder + the useSession
snapshot source), ISessions, IWorkspaces, ILayout, IConversation, and the
existing SlashServiceContract now actually mounted on Context.slash. The
concrete services implement their face; wire-pump and assembly entry
points stay on the classes. The provide-channel materialization and
current-projection logic moves into SessionProvideChannel so the
production service and the client test runtime share one implementation.
The workspaces service consumes sessions through the narrow SessionsPort.

imccyu ff06272774 feat(web): /permission popup picker (hostBacked contribution)
Bare /permission now opens a flat popupSelect of presets (current value
active, custom excluded) instead of returning a text report — the /model
pattern on a single-level list. The new dsh-client-ui-permission package
registers the contribution; a pick submits '/permission <preset>' through
Session.command, so the picker, the composer chip, and the argued line all
write through the one host command and follow the one pushed projection
frame. Options and availability read the 'permissions' projection.

ui-command gains the hostBacked contribution mode: a same-named host
command is cooperation, not a collision — the host keeps the catalog row,
the argument claim (space and argued-enter fall through to the host path),
and the lifecycle logging, while the contribution supplies only the
bare-invocation popup. The /permission command handler keeps its bare-line
text report for host surfaces without a popup layer (TUI, raw execute).

imccyu da4e54b515 docs: regenerate catalogs and settle the static gates for the goal surface
- Regenerate the cordis/config catalogs, doc graphs, and module graph for
the four newly mounted plugins and the goal projection key.
- ui-goal README pair (Model Experience indirect + Known Limitations) with
its i18n record; sentence-allowlist entry for the indirect form.
- knip workspace entry for ui-goal (tsx test pattern).
- type-equiv manifest follows the seven host-coupled goal symbols to
  domain.ts.
- The web-slash-command-dispatch note documents the dropped prompt
interception and leaves with it; the goal-bar note's code paths follow the
  component into ui-goal (pairing re-recorded).

imccyu 25265b312c feat(web): projection-fed permission chip replaces the Access placeholder
PermissionSelect returns as the Access seat's wired occupant: options and
the current value read from the 'permissions' projection through the
standard-kit useProjection (no fetch, no mount timing — the resident
composer's mount-once fetch bug dies with the fetch), key absence renders
nothing (permission-less host, or a Draft with no session), and a pick
submits the '/permission <preset>' command line through the new
ComposerBarInjected.command callback (Session.command = command.execute
admission; the pushed projection frame lands the confirmed value). The
READONLY_OPTIONS placeholder and its local state leave InputBar.

The connection fixture mirrors the host: a permissions unit fold (three
knob events over the fixture preset table), the projections block +
baseline/push frames carry the key, and /permission joins the command
catalog with the same switch-through-knob-events handler shape.

imccyu c46419cf5c fix(apiproxy, client): the list projection column becomes a seedable watermarked block
Review finding (PR #791): the column carried bare values (no seq), so the
client could not seed its value store without risking a stale list block
outranking newer push frames — and nothing consumed the column at all,
leaving cold titles absent after a restart. SessionSummary.projections is
now the same SessionProjectionsBlock as the history tail (values +
asOfSeq; attached rows cut the live registry, cold rows serve the cache's
identity-checked cachedSnapshot whose asOfSeq is the lowest served-row
watermark). SessionManager.refreshList seeds each row's block into the
per-session projection store via per-key apply — partial-baseline
semantics: an absent key never clears, and higher-seq-wins keeps stale
list blocks beneath push frames and tail baselines — so cold titles
surface in the sidebar without opening a session.

imccyu 6e950940ee feat(web): ui-goal package — GoalBar over the goal session projection
New client plugin package. The GoalBar component migrates verbatim from the
original PR (phase labels, inline edit form, resume-when-paused, pending
lockout, inline errors); its data path is rebuilt for the projection model:

- GoalDock adapter reads useProjection('goal') from the standard kit — no
controller, no store, no refresh chain, no event listener (the original
PR's Session goal fields, write-revision fence, and coalesced refetch all
dissolve into the value store's seq rule).
- The inject face carries only the three mutation verbs; each reads the CAS
ref from the session's current projected value at call time and maps the
settled RPC result inline (callbacks from inject, live state from
  useProjection).
- Seats at conversation.input.dock order 1 (the slot contract names GoalBar
as a resident of this strip), below TodoPanel/QueueDock, tucked against
the composer; hero phase renders nothing for free.
- IconSparkle16 is package-local (sole consumer) — ui-primitives keeps only
  the shared action icons.
- goalbar.spec migrates with GoalSnapshot props (activation is process-local
and absent from the projection; the strip renders durable phase only).

imccyu c6b552e817 refactor(web): drop the permission RPC pair and turn-anchoring machinery
The session.permissions/setPermission unary pair, the PermissionOption wire
DTO, the client Session wrappers, and the fixture/fake mirrors all leave the
wire: the read side moves to the 'permissions' session projection and the
write side moves to the /permission command in follow-up commits, so the
web protocol gains no permission methods at all.

The pendingSwitches + prompt-submit flush + hasOpenTurn move also goes.
Knob events no longer need turn enclosure: the persistence scanner keeps
standalone events after the last turn/end as part of the preserved prefix
(remove-synthetic-log-only-turns), none of the three knob invariants demand
an open turn, and the setters append bare events. An idle switch commits
immediately; hasOpenTurn stays a user-approval private fold (its audit pair
is the one contract that still requires enclosure).

The old PermissionSelect chip and its mount-time fetch die with the RPCs
(the resident composer broke the mount-once assumption); the projection-fed
replacement lands with the Access seat swap.

imccyu a66d1e335f Merge origin/master into web-permission-sandbox
39 conflicts resolved per the reattachment plan (missions worktree-projbiz
0728-1859): baseline wins for deleted packages (host/runtime, old ui/acp,
ui-sidebar Rows/tree) and retired specs; unions for wire-layer exports and
client summary fields; the approval takeover, waitingApprovals tracking, and
PendingApproval domain face carry over onto the master structure. The two
new host specs follow the runtime->apiproxy rename. Dead PR-side wiring
(ConversationInjected permissions/setPermission spread, InputBar controls
prop, boot.ts sandbox composition) resolves to master and its replacement
lands in follow-up commits.

imccyu 1c2923c84f feat(web): re-land the goals wire domain as mutation-only ref acknowledgements
Six mutation RPCs (create/edit/pause/resume/complete/clear) move into
dsh-host-apiproxy (the PR's host/runtime carrier is gone): goalService()
resolves ctx.get('goals') with a loud absence error, mutateGoal() resolves
the session's agent (agentFor, the command.* implicit-resume precedent) and
acknowledges with the new CAS ref only. GoalError codes ride err.details.

goal.get and the wire GoalView/goalViewSchema are gone: the read side is the
'goal' session projection (whole values on the history tail page and
session/projection frames), so responses never feed client state — the rule
whose absence forced the original PR's write-revision fences.

imccyu cbab62bdea Merge origin/master into goal-ui: adopt the rewritten client core and apiproxy carrier
Conflict rulings follow the projection-reattach plan:
- host/runtime package (deleted on master): take master; the PR's boot
composition moves to the cordis.yml roster and its goals handlers will be
re-landed in dsh-host-apiproxy; the session.prompt slash interception and
its spec are dropped entirely (superseded by command.execute + command/run
  logging).
- client core (rewritten on master): take master; the PR's Session goal
fields/methods, ConversationSnapshot.goal, goalActions injection, and the
hard-mounted GoalBar are all superseded by the 'goal' session projection
(useProjection) and will return as the ui-goal plugin.
- wire contract: union of master's workspace/command/skill domains and the
PR's goal domain, minus goal.get (the read side is the projection block +
session/projection frames; six mutation RPCs stay).
- GoalBar component and spec leave ui-conversation (they re-land in the new
  ui-goal package); IconSparkle16 stays in ui-conversation chat.
- The web-slash-command-dispatch note documents the dropped interception and
is removed; the goal-bar note will be rewritten for the projection model.
- pnpm-lock.yaml taken from master (reinstall recomputes).

Chinesezjc 0401c3c6c7 test(ui-theme): resolve elevated surfaces from the palette, not from rebinds
The check added last commit derived its elevated set from the sheets that
already rebind, which cannot catch the omission it targets: such a set only
confirms what someone already remembered, and a surface nobody has rebound
yet defines itself as unelevated. Review found the case that proves it —
TodoPanel scrolls in .list on a --dsw-specific-tip card, the same dark rung
as the menu surface, unrebound and with the derived check green.

Resolves the set from the palette's own dark elevation ladder instead: the
surface tokens whose dark value lands on bg-layer-2 or bg-layer-3, which is
the step the l1/l2 split encodes. A new palette token on an elevated rung is
in scope the moment it is defined.

Scope is by token family rather than geometry: only --dsw-alias-bg-* and
--dsw-specific-* name a surface. The button, interactive, and markdown
families reach the same rungs while naming a control or an inline span that
no scroll container renders a bar against, and shape cannot separate them
since a floating button carries a radius, a shadow, and a fixed size —
ChatView's .toBottom pill was the false positive that showed this.

Adds the missing TodoPanel rebind. Mutation-checked all four rebinds in
turn: each is named with its surface. The palette anchoring has its own
control — narrowing the family pattern turns it red on --dsw-specific-menu.

Chinesezjc 4265ac876c fix(client): rebind the scrollbar indirection on three missed elevated surfaces
Review found three scroll containers sitting on surfaces the rebinding
contract covers, none of which rebound: ui-primitives' shared Menu card
on --dsw-specific-menu (the surface PopupSelectView already rebinds for),
and the composer input and question composer cards, both on
--dsw-specific-input-major. Each rendered the l1 thumb, which differs
from l2 only in the dark palette and only on that surface, so a
light-palette screenshot and a code read both look correct.

Adds the mechanical check that would have caught them instead of leaving
it to inspection: a sheet that scrolls somewhere and paints a known
elevated surface somewhere must rebind. The elevated set is derived from
the sheets that already rebind, since a rebinding rule paints the surface
whose elevation it declares, so a new elevated surface joins the set by
rebinding rather than by anyone updating a list. Surface-level rather than
element-level because the card and the descendant that scrolls are
separate rules and CSS text does not say which contains which. Verified by
reverting each of the three fixes in turn: the check names the sheet and
the surface every time.

Also commits snapshots/sidebar-scrollbar/geometry.expected.md, the
resolved scrollbar style and geometry in both palettes. The aria goldens
the other web scenarios commit cannot carry a CSS-only change, since it
alters no DOM and no accessible name and leaves their trees
byte-identical. Absolute coordinates stay out: they track font metrics and
the laid-out sidebar width, so committing them would document the platform
and force a per-platform re-record.

Chinesezjc c3e9690b2e fix(ui-theme): gate the standard scrollbar properties behind the missing WebKit pseudo-element
A non-`auto` `scrollbar-width` or `scrollbar-color` makes Chromium and Safari
discard every `::-webkit-scrollbar*` rule for that element, including
`::-webkit-scrollbar-thumb:hover`. Declaring both unconditionally left the
hover tokens rendering nowhere: the engines implementing the hover
pseudo-element are exactly the ones the standard properties silence, and
Firefox has no hover pseudo-element to fall back on. Both hover tokens and all
four elevated surfaces' hover rebinds were therefore dead code.

Measured in chromium on probe elements with `scrollbar-gutter: stable`: an 8px
`::-webkit-scrollbar` alone reserved a 30px band, and adding
`scrollbar-width: thin` dropped it to the 10px `thin` reserves.

The standard properties now sit inside `@supports not
selector(::-webkit-scrollbar)`, so Firefox takes them and WebKit-based engines
take the pseudo-elements. The WebKit rules stay ungated: an engine without
those pseudo-elements drops them as unknown selectors, and gating them would
hide them from an engine that implements them without `selector()` — the
pre-16.4 Safari the ungated form serves correctly.

Three unit assertions pin the split by source offset, which the existing
at-rule-flattening parser cannot see. The web e2e now reads the path chromium
actually takes: the `auto` standard properties as the gate's signature, the
pseudo-element sizing and track, the indirection variables resolved per
throwaway probe, and the hover declaration as cascade rule text — chromium
folds the `:hover` rule into `getComputedStyle(el,
'::-webkit-scrollbar-thumb')`, so no computed query separates the states.
