Node 26.0.0 removed --experimental-transform-types, so the native
source-launch chain cannot start anywhere on that line, and strip-only
mode rejects the vendored syntax (parameter properties, decorators,
runtime enums/namespaces). Switch bin/dsh, the root dsh/demo:tui/
demo:web scripts, and the Code Mode TUI overlay to node --import
tsx/esm: one launch vector across the whole engines range, ~0.4s faster
than the full tsx default (the CJS hook stays off; the graph is
ESM-only).
Delete scripts/tspath-loader.ts and apps/cli/src/tsconfig-paths-loader.ts:
tsx owns both transformation and tsconfig paths projection. Add
dsh-source-launch-smoke to the node-compat gates so the 22.19/26 matrix
executes the real launch vector; no CI job did, which is how the Node 26
breakage shipped silently.
Supersedes the native-TypeScript-source-launch Agent Note (new note
records the profiling evidence and rejected alternatives).
Shared-surface conflicts resolve as unions: the fixture serves all five
projection keys (title/todos/permissions/plan/goal) with the /permission
and /plan command mirrors side by side, the connection specs assert the
five-key baseline and the shifted approval/question replay indices, and
the cli roster/deps, tsconfig aggregate, and README allowlist carry both
lines' rows. Plan-side content lands verbatim from master.
One end-state consolidation both branches half-did: with questions
(ui-question) and approvals (ApprovalPanel) each owning a composer
takeover, PendingCard retires outright — ChatView renders no pending
placeholder, the card component and its specs go, and both README halves
state the takeover-only contract.
Union resolutions throughout — the fixture serves both the goal and plan
projection units (catalog gains /goal beside /plan; the retired
goal-fixture sample command yields to the real goal mirror), the mux
baseline spec expects all four unit frames, and the tsconfig paths /
Model Experience allowlist carry both domains' outlets.
Shared-surface conflicts resolve as unions: the fixture serves all four
projection keys (title/todos/permissions/goal) with both the /permission
and /goal command mirrors (the goal-fixture placeholder retires with
master), apps/cli carries both lines' dependency additions, and the README
Model Experience allowlist keeps both entries. The connection specs assert
the four-key baseline and the shifted approval/question replay indices;
the module graph regenerates over the merged dependency set.
- tsconfig.base.json still aliased the removed directory-picker-dialog and
offered no mapping for -native: on a clean tree, package-name imports and
source launches fell through to a missing lib/ until a build ran.
- The seam note (and the generated seam prose) no longer describe the
browse browser half as shipped here: it lands in the stacked follow-up,
and a -browse composition meanwhile shows the documented empty-hole
default (ds-review-bot).
Three ui-conversation spec conflicts resolve to master's SlotTestRuntime
rewrites. Adaptation to the new outward session face: ISession gains the
command verb (the composer chip and the /permission picker submit through
it), FixtureSession grows the matching fail-loud stub plus the
waitingApproval summary default, and the picker reads the projection
through projections.faceOf (the ProjectionsFace shape) instead of the
retired store getter.
gen-cordis-catalog/api, config/persistence catalogs, module graph, and doc
graphs pick up the ui-permission package, the permissions projection key,
and the /permission command; KnobState and PermissionSelect join the
type-link exemptions (owned by the permission package's own docs), and
ui-permission joins the sentence Model Experience allowlist (indirect via
the host command). The ui-conversation and dsh-permission READMEs gain
their zh halves for the approval/chip and projection/command paragraphs;
all three touched pairs re-record.
A jsdom slot test runtime for feature specs: a real Cordis Context, the
production SlotsService and web-react renderer, and typed session/workspace
doubles (TestSessions implements ISessions with FixtureSession sessions;
TestWorkspaces implements IWorkspaces), so the compiler flags fixture drift
when a production face changes. Fixtures feed plain data: list rows,
conversation snapshots, and ISession-typed behavior stubs; provide-bundle
materialization runs the shared SessionProvideChannel.
DOM snapshot support: declare()/renderSlot() mount a single slot inside a
data-slot wrapper for local .snap capture, and a snapshot serializer folds
CSS-module class hashes to their semantic locals and collapses svg internals
to a content fingerprint. The typed provide() constrains declared-service
fakes to Partial of the service's outward face.
Plan mode is entered through /plan only — the select control is retired.
The conversation.input.plan seat (now right of the access-mode control)
renders a read-only Plan chip while the projection's effective target is
plan mode; its hover x executes /plan off, and the chip follows the folded
target (appears on /plan immediately, disappears on /plan off) with frames
correcting either way. While plan mode is targeted the composer textarea's
placeholder switches to the plan-task wording — InputBar reads the same
projection through the standard-kit useProjection (the TodoDock posture:
a type-only key merge, no domain service edge), and owner placeholders
still win.
- Regenerate the cordis/config catalogs, doc graphs, and module graph for
the four newly mounted plugins and the goal projection key.
- ui-goal README pair (Model Experience indirect + Known Limitations) with
its i18n record; sentence-allowlist entry for the indirect form.
- knip workspace entry for ui-goal (tsx test pattern).
- type-equiv manifest follows the seven host-coupled goal symbols to
domain.ts.
- The web-slash-command-dispatch note documents the dropped prompt
interception and leaves with it; the goal-bar note's code paths follow the
component into ui-goal (pairing re-recorded).
gen-cordis-catalog/api, config and persistence catalogs, and doc graphs
regenerated over the new sessionProjectionCache service and the registry's
checkpoint faces. Classifications: ProjectionCheckpoint joins the type-link
exemptions (owned by the projection package source), Partial joins the
foundation names, the cache service gets its capability-seam role row, and
the package takes the one-sentence Model Experience contract (host-side
read-model accelerator, no model surface).
ui-workspace's two trigger surfaces each declare a single-kind directory-flow
hole (conversation.hero.workspace.directoryFlow / sidebar.workspaces.directoryFlow,
same owner contract) and keep only the trigger and the adoption: the Open-local-
folder entry renders while the surface's hole is occupied, and the occupant
reports one picked path per open through the hole's owner conversation
(open/busy/onPicked/onCancel/onError).
directory-picker-native becomes dual-face: its browser half fills both holes
with a renderless occupant driving host.pickDirectory, so the cordis.yml row
that mounts the backend also composes the client interaction — a mismatch is
impossible and a second flow package fails at client load.
With composition wiring both sides, the host.describe.directoryPicker
advertisement and the client's kind branching lose their last consumer:
the field, WorkspacesService.directoryPickerKind(), the DirectoryPickerKind
wire type, and the picker's per-open describe read are deleted. The connection
fixture now serves a deterministic pickDirectory path so the keyless snapshot
drives the full pick-then-adopt flow. ui-workspace's hand-rolled declaration
deferral is replaced by the deferRegistration helper it duplicated.
Regenerate the cordis/config/persistence catalogs and the module graph for
the ui-plan package and the plan projection unit; add the ui-plan Chinese
README and the Model Experience indirect sentence (allowlisted: the control
dispatches /plan lines, dsh-plan-mode owns the model surface); carry the
QuestionComposer Markdown/scroll improvements into the Chinese ui-question
README; re-record the three touched translation pairs.
master's toolcall-open extracted runNativeCommand inside apiproxy for the
openPath opener while the picker seam had moved the native chooser (its other
consumer) into directory-picker-native; after the merge the two packages each
carried a verbatim copy. The runner now lives in packages/util/native-command
(zero-dependency library, per the util-group contract) and both native
integrations depend on it.
The browse interaction also presents a dialog (the in-app modal), so 'dialog'
failed to discriminate the two capability kinds; 'native' names where the
chooser runs. Package directory-picker-dialog -> directory-picker-native, kind
'dialog' -> 'native', with every seam/gateway/client/doc reference updated and
the seam Agent Note's naming rationale rewritten to match.
The wine blocking job flaked with ERR_PNPM_ENOENT rename '_tmp_*' ->
'<pkg>/node_modules/esbuild' during workspace snapshot + pnpm install
(runs 30334004123 and 30340039598), and a plain rerun passed. Root
cause is upstream pnpm/pnpm#12880: the hoisted linker's parallel
linkers race to rename their _tmp_* staging directory onto the same
nested package path, and the loser exits although an identical
re-install succeeds. Only this lane uses nodeLinker: hoisted, so only
this lane hits it.
snapshot_and_install now retries exactly that log signature up to two
times, wiping the scratch tree's node_modules first (the snapshot
itself contains none, so the wipe restores the pre-install state) and
logging each retry with the upstream issue. Any other install failure
still fails on the first attempt, and a race that survives the final
attempt still fails loud with the install log tail.
