The Client API carrier's `agentPresets` member was the one member of its class
without an `IApiClient[...]` annotation. Inferring it inlined `AgentPresetEntry`
into the emitted declaration by the specifier TS picks — the host `index.ts` —
dragging the whole gateway, and with it the host `Context` merges, into every
Client program importing the carrier. Annotated like its siblings.
`ApiRemoteAgentOptions.setup` now takes the inspected session rather than its
header alone: this layer resolves a resumed session's preset from the LOG,
because a session that switched while blank ran its turns under the newer
composition and the header is written once at creation.

One settings row picking which preset new sessions are composed from.
It is deliberately a new-session preference, not a live switch: a session's
preset is fixed at creation and the host refuses to adopt an existing session
under a different one, so the row says "applies to sessions you start from now
on" rather than implying it can retune a running agent.
Options and the current value come from one `agentPreset.list` call — the
roster already reports which id an unspecified session gets, so the row needs
no settings-schema introspection, unlike the permission row it is modelled on.
The write targets only the namespace's `default` field.
The menu marks `user` rows: a locally authored preset is exactly as privileged
as the plugins it names, and presenting it identically to a shipped one would
hide that.
An empty roster reads as `unavailable` and renders nothing, because composing
no presets is a valid deployment rather than a failure — distinct from a
roster call that failed, which surfaces its message.
ui-conversation now owns only the conversation.chat.turnTail hole; the row,
its derivation, and its copy live in @deepseek-ai/dsh-client-ui-deliverables,
composed in or out by one cordis.yml line.
A preset is a directory holding one `agent.cordis.yml`. Mounting it under an
agent's scope context during `setup(agentCtx)` gives that one session its own
tools and prompt sections while every other live session keeps its own.
No registry gains a tier. `dsh-tools` and `dsh-system-prompt` already file
registrations into the calling context's scope layer, and entry contexts chain
to the context a subtree was plugged into, so a composition mounted under
`agent.ctx` is that agent's alone and unwinds with it.
The mount audits itself because a directly-plugged subtree is absent from
`ctx.loader.entries()` and no boot audit covers it. It rejects an unscoped
target, a row that never became usable, and a row that published a service into
the root service realm — that last one is process-global rather than
per-session, and its collision with the next session surfaces as an unhandled
rejection `setup` never observes, leaving a half-composed agent that looks
healthy. The package invariant re-checks that rule on every service
notification, since a row publishing from a timer would escape a one-shot audit.
Raises the `packages/README.md` word ceiling from 920 to 980: the group table
must enumerate every group, and the new `preset/` row is necessary content.

Profile bundles are npm packages declaring dsh.patch in their manifest:
dsh-base carries the former base.cordis.yml rows as one insert over the empty
profile root; dsh-web-app carries the web overlay plus a runtime glue plugin
owning what used to be launcher code (frontend dist resolution via
frontend-static, the web-surface prompt section, bash runtime variables, the
readiness-gated URL line); dsh-headless carries the one-shot runner driving a
task turn through the in-process API carrier under the launcher-provided
ctx.headlessIo seam.
Implements the durable-subagent-catalog RFC: SubagentControlService.listChildren()
enumerates a parent's direct continuable children from one sessionQuery trace,
validates each child's sole subagent/descriptor event (now carrying the durable
creation label), and returns one ordered SubagentListEntry[] with per-child
corrupt/unsupported/unavailable diagnostics. The list_agents tool ships as a
separately loadable plugin of dsh-tool-subagent-control requiring sessionQuery
at load; send_message stays usable without it.
Windows-native execution foundation: PwshLocalExecutor implements the bash
executor seam over ctx.subprocess (pwsh -NoLogo -NoProfile -NonInteractive
-Command, one argv element, no quoting layer; resolvePwshPath probes
PowerShell 7 / PATH / Windows PowerShell 5.1 as a pure function), and
tool-pwsh is the minimal PowerShell-dialect model-facing tool over ctx.bash
(foreground only, managed DSH_* env, timeout/signal/exit markers, terminal
and generic presenters). Both packages carry full suites (real pwsh,
self-skipping without it) at per-file 100% coverage; vitest's Windows
exclusion narrows from packages/bash/* to the bash-requiring packages so the
pwsh suites run natively on Windows too. The CLI gains the workspace deps
and tsconfig projects without mounting either plugin; the Windows-default
roadmap is recorded as a proposed Agent Note.
web.cordis.yml references @deepseek-ai/dsh-host-directory-picker-auto but
tsconfig.base.json had no paths entry for it, so the tsx source launch fell
back to built lib/ and verify-cordis-config failed. Add the mapping alongside
its -browse/-native siblings.
The tui.cordis.yml entry for @deepseek-ai/dsh-tui/prompt had no tsconfig
paths mapping: the @deepseek-ai/dsh-* wildcard substitutes tui/prompt whole
into nonexistent candidates, so the tsx source launch fell back to package
exports and required built lib/prompt.js. pnpm dsh failed at startup on
every clean tree (fresh worktrees) with 'plugin(s) failed to load'.
Move COMPACT_CHECKPOINT_SOURCE and isCompactCheckpointSource into a
cordis-free src/checkpoint.ts leaf, re-exported from the root so every
host-side consumer keeps its import. The client can then type-import the
leaf without reaching dsh-session's root, whose Context merge declares the
host sessions service and collides with the client's -- the dsh-commands/brand
shape. Renaming the plugin id now fails the client typecheck.
Also: keep recoverable summary text when a compact/summary mixes text with
other block types, and capture the seeded-history provenance seqs from the
pushes that produce them instead of deriving them by arithmetic.
The Models settings section joins llm.providers (the configurable
directory with live state), settings.describe (schemas, layered redacted
values, secret slots), and credentials.describe (value-free badges) into
provider rows with one editor card at a time. The editor renders the
provider's profile subtree through dsh-client-schema-form; the
credential-ref role mounts a control that shows configured/source state
and stores keys write-only through credentials.set. Apply without
removals merges a minimal patch (stored secrets outside it survive);
apply after a reset — and row deletion — replace the user section so
removals land. The client runtime bridges the three new host frames to
typed ctx events (settings/credentials/models changed), the page
refetches on any of them once loaded, and ui-model's per-session picker
directories reload on models/changed so a settings-born route appears in
open pickers without a reopen.
