Registrations declare a dictionary namespace (locale: NS) and the renderer
synthesizes a typed t prop for the entry's component from the installed
LocaleFace; the seat binding is re-derived per locale revision, so a language
switch hands out fresh t references and memoized consumers re-render through
ordinary shallow comparison. LocaleNamespaceMap is the declare-merge table
(namespace -> dictionary key union); TranslateNS<'ns'> is the
namespace-addressed translate type (namespace keys plus the shared common
vocabulary), carried by the t seat and by the locale service's typed bind.
LocaleService implements the face (lookup ns -> common -> zh -> key,
revision-carrying snapshots with subscriber isolation) and installs it
through the boot-once slots.installLocale seam, mirroring the renderer
install. The typed register(ns, {zh, en}) overload checks each dictionary
against the namespace's key union and requires every shipped locale, so a
missing or extra key and an unbalanced translation are compile errors.
Dictionary registration bumps the face revision without emitting
locale/change — the event now means exactly 'the active locale switched',
so registration-heavy boot cannot storm event listeners.
The native adapter's route was named deepseek, colliding with pi-ai's
catalog provider of the same name, so the two DeepSeek paths could never
be mounted side by side. The web settings page needs both configurable at
once. Compositions, fixtures, goldens, scaffolding defaults, and docs all
move together (pre-release, no shim); TUI/session-query-spill/
missing-credential goldens re-recorded through their keyless refresh
modes because provider-name length shifts box padding and spill
truncation points.
The original ModelSelector returns as the conversation.input.model seat
occupant (the named single slot the composer bar renders before its primary
button), alongside — not instead of — the /model popup. Both entries are
projections of ONE per-session directory owned by the new ModelService
(ctx.models): the same session.models load, the same selectModel submit,
the same host-reported current — a switch in either entry is what the
other shows next, asserted both ways in the plugin spec.
Trigger chrome follows figma 313:14108's composer ToggleButton (13/20
medium secondary label, 4px gap, caption chevron, 28px chip height
matching the sibling Plan/Read-only selects); the menu keeps the original
upward provider-grouped single-select with keyboard navigation. The
seat honors the owner locked bit as its disabled state.
