Yichen Jiang b5b17a7f65 fix(ci): stabilize static and coverage gates 2026-07-10 15:21:22 +08:00
Tianyi Cui 2489402610 Merge origin/master: scope-aware fusion of the tools/execute seam, session-prefix, and tool-cordis
Master brought 50 commits (the tool-cordis group, dsh-code-runtime + worker,
the tools/execute around-dispatch seam + timeout-policy, repeat-tool-guard,
agent/session-prefix, the ui reorganization). Beyond the ten textual
conflicts, the merge reconciles master's new seams with this branch's
scoped-registration world:

- tools/execute (new waterfall around core dispatch): dispatched with the
SAME exec.agent carrier as the pre/post waterfalls — an agent.ctx wrapper
times/retries only its own agent's calls — and its base thunk resolves the
tool through the caller's visible view (get(exec.name, exec.agent)), so a
scoped/shadowed tool dispatches and a restricted-away global stays
  UNKNOWN_TOOL. Declared this: Scoped<ToolRegistry> with the scope-filtered
doc sentence; invariants table + verify-scoped-dispatch pin it (21 events).
- agent/session-prefix (new waterfall, once per loop instance): composed via
the fused agentEvents dispatcher (scope-filtered like every agent-subject
  event), declared this: Scoped<Agent>, table-pinned. agent/pre-step keeps
master's new sessionPrefix parameter with this branch's Scoped this.
- timeout-policy reads the budget through the caller's visible view
  (get(exec.name, exec.agent)): a scoped tool's own timeoutMs governs its
calls; a global name-twin's budget is never misapplied to a shadowing
  per-agent variant.
- tool-cordis: cordis_inspect's tools section lists the CALLING agent's view
(its description promises "what you can call"); the sandbox tool façade's
reads resolve through the mount's own scope, mirroring where its register
lands writes; sandboxRegisterTool's return type carries the exact-disposer
union honestly. dsh-scope declared as peer+dev with the project reference.
- doc-sync chain unions master's verify-cordis-api with this branch's
verify-scoped-dispatch; the generated catalogs, event matrix (the
zero-dispatcher guard passes over master's new events), module graph, and
the cordis api-catalog are regenerated on the merged surface.

Full gate sequence green on the merged tree: typecheck, lint, per-file 100%
coverage (2668 tests), snapshots (38), doc-sync, module graph, build,
hygiene, demo smoke.

imccyu 7f5b990aa1 Merge remote-tracking branch 'origin/master' into workflow-vm-to-workerthread 2026-07-09 21:34:52 +08:00
imccyu 0d11a3afc7 workflow: rename dsh-workflow-vm to dsh-workflow-workerthread
Pure mechanical rename now that the package's internals are the
worker-thread engine: directory, package name, spec/e2e filenames,
module tags and logger prefixes, tsconfig/knip/run-gates/AGENTS.md
references, example cordis.yml plugin ids, doc links; catalogs
regenerated and the lockfile refreshed.

imccyu b5f618bcfb workflow: swap the engine's internals to node:worker_threads
In-place port of dsh-workflow-vm from the in-process node:vm execution
to one worker thread per run (the workflow-workerthread engine of
PR #215, adopted as THE engine): the script's vm context moves inside
the worker, agent() bridges to ctx.subagents over the message port
(host.ts/protocol.ts/session.ts/worker.ts are new; runtime.ts loses the
abandon channel — the host's grace timer force-settles and TERMINATES
instead), start() pre-parses the body host-side to keep the seam's
synchronous SCRIPT_PARSE throw, and a ready→go handshake keeps a run
cancelled before start from ever executing the body. start() no longer
blocks the host, termination is real, and the value boundary is
serialization by construction. The package keeps its name until the
follow-up rename commit; scripts see the identical hook surface, and
the seam-contract tests hardened ahead of this swap pass unchanged.

The run and child-RPC surfaces are class-shaped rather than literal
bundles: WorkerRun IMPLEMENTS the seam's WorkflowRun (id/meta are its
own clone, separate from event payloads') and start() returns the
instance directly — interface parity with the seam is compiler-checked;
worker-side, ChildRpcBridge (implements ChildPort; callId allocation +
pending book-keeping settled by onChild* entry points) and
RpcChildHandle (every member an RPC keyed by its callId) carry names in
stacks. ChildPort's method is startAgent — it names what it starts,
matching the script-side agent() hook and the agentsStarted /
workflow/agent-* vocabulary; the Child* type names deliberately stay
(the worker side is cordis- and subagent-free; these are reduced JSON
projections, not the seam's types).

Review findings from the reference PR are folded in rather than
re-introduced:
- cancel() drives BOTH child-cancel channels host-side: the request
signal aborts AND each registered child's explicit cancel() is
called — a worker wedged in a synchronous spin cannot relay its own
ChildCancel RPCs (regression: cancel-only provider + wedged worker).
- All host warn paths render through the total renderThrown; a child
dispose() rejecting a value whose coercion throws still acks
ChildDisposed instead of wedging the script's finally (regression).
- built-worker.e2e.ts is wired into builtBinSmokeGate and the AGENTS.md
CI sequence — the built lib/worker.js resolution contract now runs in
  an automated gate.
- workflow/end payload pinned on the worker-death path (with the
cancelled and grace-force-settle pins riding the ported spec).
- Real-Worker scripted timing budgets widened (50-300ms → 150-1000ms)
  for starved CI hosts.

Workspace plumbing: the "./worker" subpath export sanctions the second
runtime bundle (check-workspace-constraints), tsdown builds two
single-entry passes, tsx becomes a devDependency for the unbuilt worker
spawn.

Tianyi Cui e7bcbb8bc6 feat(dx): scopeHost, agent-aware ACP presentation, and the scoped-dispatch drift gate
scopeHost(ctx, services) is the sanctioned way to mint scopes in tests: it
names absent services loudly instead of the cryptic cordis without-inject
dead end, and catches the silent-no-op host (cordis resolves a
dependency-pending fiber's await without running the inject callback).

The ACP ToolPresenter resolves presentations through the session agent's
view (tools.get(name, agent)) so a scoped/shadowed tool renders with the
same definition that executed.

verify-scoped-dispatch (doc-sync + pre-push) pins the dev-invariants
carrier table against the declaration JSDoc set: an event enforced but
undocumented, documented but unenforced, or a registry-subject notification
leaking into the table fails the build. subagent/start|end docs gain their
scoped-dispatch sentence (a real gap the gate caught on first run).

Tianyi Cui 583704ac1d feat: add the worker-thread code runtime (dsh-code-runtime-worker)
The shipped backend of the code-execution seam, per the Code Mode RFC's
worker-thread section: one fresh Node worker per run, executing the
model's TypeScript after a host-side type-strip (wrapped in an
async-function shell so top-level return/await parse, sliced back out
position-preserved), bindings bridged over the message port under
hostile-peer rules (own-property name lookup, at-most-once replies,
post-settlement drops, null-prototype namespaces), logs streamed eagerly
with an in-band truncation marker, and two independent budgets — measured
event-loop busy time (computeMs) plus a never-pausing wall ceiling
(maxWallMs) — funneling into worker.terminate(). env: {} and execArgv: []
keep the isolate hermetic; disposal aborts in-flight runs and awaits
worker exits.

The worker entry loads unbuilt via Node's native type stripping
(src/worker.ts, erasable-only) and ships built as a sibling tsdown bundle
(lib/worker.js); tests/built-lib.e2e.ts pins the built load path under
plain node and joins the built-artifact smoke gate. Unit suites cover the
bootstrap in-process (fake port) and the runtime over real workers,
per-file 100%.

Tianyi Cui 5e4ac5e472 fix review findings: CI leaf-gate wiring, heritage return surface, AGENTS.md self-containedness
- run-gates.ts docSyncLeafGates() gains verify-export-jsdoc — CI lanes
and the pre-push hook execute this leaf list, not the doc-sync npm
script, so the gate was previously unenforced there (proven by
SessionForkErrorCode landing undocumented via a master merge while
checks stayed green; now documented). Same wiring gap fixed for
master's verify-config-catalog, which was also missing from the list.
- The heritage exemption now recovers the base's return surface: a void
base return carried no @returns duty, so an override returning a
concrete result documents it itself (annotated overrides run the
standard check; unannotated ones are classified by the checker so
faithful void overrides need no boilerplate annotation). Three new
negative-path tests pin it; RFC and module doc updated.
- AGENTS.md states each principle inline instead of citing RFCs (eight
citations removed; high-level doc links kept) and the editing section
  now carries the self-containedness rule.
- Generated catalogs/graphs regenerated for the shifted line pointers.
