The only browser-trust guard covered host.pickDirectory, while the
consequential methods (session.prompt drives bash) accepted any Host —
open to DNS rebinding, where a rebound page reads and writes the API as
if same-origin and only the Host header betrays the attacker's domain.
The pickDirectory-specific loopback guard becomes a prefix-wide fence:
Host must be loopback or an exact host[:port] from the new trustedHosts
config, an attached Origin must equal that authority, and explicit
cross-site markers are refused; requests without browser markers (curl,
tests, native clients) pass, because without a browser there is no
confused deputy. The loopback-socket check is dropped — binding policy
expresses reachability, and the fence is not an auth layer. The Agent
Note records the full threat model and the alternatives.
The group's convention is package suffix == provider default
(subagent-acp/'acp', subagent-spawn/'spawn', subagent-fork/'fork'), and the
provider default became dsh-sdk in the last review round — so the package
follows: @deepseek-ai/dsh-subagent-dsh-sdk at
packages/subagent/subagent-dsh-sdk, plugin name subagent-dsh-sdk,
diagnostics prefixed subagent-dsh-sdk:. The dsh echo has precedent
(dsh-llm-deepseek). Directory, fixture path, knip/tsconfig/examples
registrations, catalogs, READMEs (en+zh), and the Agent Note follow; the
sdk-client dispose ladder moves to its own module (src/dispose.ts) with the
deterministic FakeChild tier tests restored alongside it.
Master's #660 replaced dsh-subagent-subprocess with the dsh-subprocess
capability seam (ctx.subprocess + scrubbedParentEnv, tree-scoped teardown)
and moved subagent-acp onto it. Convergence for this branch's packages:
- The shared out-of-process provider vocabulary this branch had grown in
the deleted library (NO_START_CAPABILITIES, assertPositiveFinite, cwd
resolution, settleRunResult, subprocessRunHandle) moves into the subagent
seam package as out-of-process.ts — it enforces subagent-seam contracts,
not process mechanics, and both out-of-process backends now import it
from there (subagent-acp keeps master's shape otherwise).
- subagent-sdk spawns THROUGH the SDK client (the subprocess README's
documented exception for SDK-managed transports) and now applies the
seam's scrubbedParentEnv() + explicit-env merge in place of the deleted
buildChildEnv.
- sdk-client inlines the EOF→SIGTERM→SIGKILL ladder as private helpers (it
runs outside any harness context, so it cannot ride ctx.subprocess).
- The child harness fixture gains the now-required dsh-subprocess-local
entry for bash-local; the fixture cordis.yml keeps exercising the
shipped provider default.
Resolutions: regenerate the conflicted generated docs (cordis services
catalog, event-producer-consumer, module-graph); take master's
packages/README pair and re-insert the telemetry row on both sides;
re-record the README and session-doc translation pairs.
Consolidates the personal dsh-tui customizations (module split into
components/session/extension, prompt template + running-glyph indicator,
copyable transcript, tool-card headers, timing placement, XML tool output,
status/footer rework) and ports upstream's model reasoning-effort selector
(Shift+Tab effort cycling, effort-aware /model, footer, and /status) onto
the personal module layout.
Keep restore-only and self-hosted stores outside pnpm/action-setup's replaceable install directory, resolving the configured path for every paired cache. Pin Yarn 4 for the generated-project e2e so runner images without Corepack do not fall back to Yarn Classic, and update the bilingual decision record.
`config.maxWallMs` is only checked for positivity, and it is handed to
`setTimeout`, which clamps any delay above 2^31-1 ms to 1 ms. A deployment
configuring a 25-day wall ceiling therefore gets the opposite of what it asked
for: every run times out on the first tick. The runtime now range-checks the
field at load against MAX_TIMER_DELAY_MS from dsh-timeout and throws, so the
misconfiguration fails loud where it is self-contained instead of silently
inverting the budget.
`computeMs` needs no matching bound: it is compared against measured event-loop
utilization rather than fed to a timer.
The test asserts both the rejection and that the boundary value itself loads.
The original ModelSelector returns as the conversation.input.model seat
occupant (the named single slot the composer bar renders before its primary
button), alongside — not instead of — the /model popup. Both entries are
projections of ONE per-session directory owned by the new ModelService
(ctx.models): the same session.models load, the same selectModel submit,
the same host-reported current — a switch in either entry is what the
other shows next, asserted both ways in the plugin spec.
Trigger chrome follows figma 313:14108's composer ToggleButton (13/20
medium secondary label, 4px gap, caption chevron, 28px chip height
matching the sibling Plan/Read-only selects); the menu keeps the original
upward provider-grouped single-select with keyboard navigation. The
seat honors the owner locked bit as its disabled state.
- host trio kept on the merged api-proxy: session.models (provider-grouped
advisory directory), session.selectModel (validated provider, advisory
model), installAgentLlmTarget threaded through create/resume/ensureSession;
the gateway declares the llm inject it reads
- history no longer piggybacks modelTarget: the current target travels on
session.models alone (the /model popup is the sole consumer)
- new @deepseek-ai/dsh-client-ui-model plugin: /model popupSelect over the
wire — options load the directory (group label in the detail column,
provider-local failures listed inline), onSelect routes selectModel;
failures ride the popup shell's error/retry surface
- ModelSelector package, conversation.composer.control slot, and the
Session-side modelSelection state machine are removed: model selection
belongs to the /model popup; the named conversation.input.model seat
stays empty until a control-seat entry is designed for it
The duplication gate flagged three ACP/SDK clones; the shared halves move
into dsh-subagent-subprocess as provider.ts: NO_START_CAPABILITIES (frozen
all-false advertisement), assertPositiveFinite (prefix-parameterized timing
validation), settleRunResult (never-reject result settlement with contained
onError sink and listener hygiene), and subprocessRunHandle (idempotent
dispose publication). Both backends now compose these; the previously
unreachable cancelled-rejection branch is directly unit-tested at the
library level instead of v8-ignored in each backend. knip learns the
subagent-sdk workspace (e2e entry outside vitest unit includes).
- examples/jsonrpc-agent gains its first snapshot suite (sdk.snapshot.ts):
the real dsh-jsonrpc-agent runtime driven through the real dsh-sdk-client,
keyless llm-replay behind a new cordis.snapshot.yml overlay; three recorded
scenarios (text turn, bash tool, spawn subagent) pin the notification
stream, the SDK turn result, and the persisted parent+child session logs.
- Bilingual READMEs for dsh-sdk-protocol / dsh-sdk-client / dsh-subagent-sdk;
sdk/ and subagent/ group tables extended; dsh-jsonrpc README points at the
extracted protocol package; Agent Note (en+zh) owns the decision.
- The proposed make-jsonrpc-directional note is updated for the transport's
new home and its second (client) consumer.
- Model Experience sentence allowlist entries for the two client-side
packages; module graph + config catalog regenerated; i18n pairings
recorded. doc-sync passes 24/24.
SubprocessHandle loses dispose(graces) and SubprocessDisposeGraces: the
stdin-EOF→SIGTERM→SIGKILL sequence is teardown POLICY encoding one
consumer's cooperation shape, not process vocabulary — the seam keeps
kill/terminate/waitForExit, and waitForExit(signal?) is the quiescence
probe a consumer ladder needs. dsh-subagent-acp owns disposeAcpChild()
over those public verbs (tier tests move into its suite; a never-exits
stub pins the fail-loud path); dsh-subprocess-local sheds the ladder,
its deadline import, and the dsh-timeout dependency. Every future
backend now owes four verbs and no teardown policy. New bilingual
ladder-ownership Agent Note records the decision; catalogs regenerated.
