The contextBreakdown and contextPressure units carried the full priced surface, so each session's persisted projection checkpoint grew without bound. A surface replacement is now priced by the shadow-price event logged directly before it — compact/summary for compaction, the new compact/prune from tool-result pruning (priced through the injected token meter) — and the unit states shrink to a fixed handful of numbers. Regenerate the persistence/cordis/module/config catalogs.
compact/ — compaction capability family
English | 中文
A compaction capability family (see capability seams): an abstract interface, a summarizing backend, a model-free tool-result pruning companion, and a human command adapter. All product packages.
| Package | Role | ctx key |
|---|---|---|
compact/ |
Compaction seam and event vocabulary | ctx.compact |
compact-basic/ |
Token-pressure and summarization backend | registers ctx.compact |
compact-tool-result-prune/ |
Optional model-free tool-result pruning | ctx.toolResultPrune |
command-compact/ |
Human compaction command | registers on ctx.commands |
The backend, optional pruner, and human command compose through the seam; token measurement remains a separate LLM-family service. The compaction capability-seam Agent Note owns the dependency rationale.
