imccyu 2a7c1175be fix(docs): keep doc typecheck on Host sources 2026-08-08 11:52:18 +08:00
Huanqi Cao ae7d16815d chore: retrigger CI (no workflow run was created for the previous push) 2026-08-08 11:51:53 +08:00
Huanqi Cao d8acd2b656 fix(ci): pass the pwsh-less self-hosted Linux runners
The self-hosted Linux runners ship no pwsh, and the pwshAvailable probes used spawnSync('where.exe'), which reports a missing binary as status null instead of throwing — the suites never skipped and failed with spawn pwsh ENOENT. Probe with resolvePwshPath() status instead, the same gate the coverage exemption uses. Exempt pwsh-sandbox src from coverage on pwsh-less hosts (its remaining helpers branch and the invariant companion ride the executor suites' real pwsh runs); pwsh-ful hosts keep the full 100% bar. Cover the windows-acl probe case and the runner-entry resolution in sandbox-local on Linux (chain-seam tests plus a windowsAclRunnerEntry seam) — the package's POSIX-only suites are Linux's only chance to cover the new lines. Static gate fixes: declare dsh-pwsh-sandbox in the base bundle, register the runner files entry in constraints, knip entries for the e2e suite and where.exe, regenerate the module graph. Verified in WSL (no-pwsh Linux): pwsh-sandbox 5 pass/13 skip with the exemption active, sandbox-local coverage 100%.

Yichen Jiang 5cf5e0cb76 fix(agent-presets,connection): reclaim a deleted default, unpin a fence beside an open gate
Deleting the preset a user default names left the setting pointed at an id
nothing will ever supply again, and every session created without an explicit
pick then failed to start — the delete dialog called it 'new sessions cannot
select it', which understates a hard creation error. `remove` now clears the
user layer when it named the preset just deleted, exposing the deployment's own
default underneath. Storing a default that does not exist YET stays deliberate:
the roster is a live directory, so a name absent now may exist by the time a
session asks, and `resolve` still reports that case.

`agentPreset.select` also leaves the loopback set. It was pinned as a real
escalation — one preset mounts the toolset that edits the live runtime — but
`session.create` already takes an `agentPreset`, so pinning only the switch left
the same capability one method over. The deeper reason is that the capability is
not the preset's to grant: the deployment's own default already carries `bash`
and the filesystem tools, so any caller that may start a session at all can
already run commands as this process. `read`/`write`/`remove` stay pinned on
their own footing — those touch files, not sessions.

Yichen Jiang 31ed85900d fix(client): review fixes for invocation rendering and turn boundaries
The user-turn predicate (opensUserTurn) unifies the three parallel
consumers a new node kind silently missed — produced-files turn reset,
retry liveness, own-words force-scroll — so a skill invocation behaves as
the turn opener it is. The menu marker resolves through ctx.locale.bind
instead of a hand-rolled snapshot lookup; the dead legacy <skill> render
arm goes with the removal cut; command-over-skill name precedence is now
documented at the matchEnter seam; and the emptied replacement catalog
keeps the no-reload sentence, with the never-published residual recorded
in the Agent Note.

Yichen Jiang c4c2355b50 fix(host): harden skill.invoke at the enforcement boundary
Review fixes: recheck isUserInvocable on the loaded definition (list and
get collect independently, so a provider change between them could swap in
a user-disabled body — the skill-tool execute template's second check);
thread the carrier signal through the lookup and refuse an abandoned
caller's turn as cancelled; fold lookup/loader failures into the
structured internal error the list face already uses; refuse cwd-less
sessions with the skill.list stance; and reject blank trailing text at the
wire schema instead of relying on client trimming.

Yichen Jiang c480796db4 docs(llm-pi-ai): state the composition-base assumption for the dict-merge limitation
Maintainer ruling on the review's merge-semantics warning: per-model
reasoning fields belong to the settings document, not cordis.yml entry
config (the shipped composition mounts the adapter dormant), so the
recursive-merge delete gap is a documented posture rather than a tracked
fix; the Known Limitations entry now states the assumption instead of
pointing at the closed #2003.

Yichen Jiang e5d0089d5b cleanup(llm-pi-ai): share the model-entry field schemas between models and modelOverrides
The duplication gate caught the two schema literals diverging only by
the id field; the shared dict is now the single home, with the id added
where it lives (the entry) and omitted where the dict key carries it.

Yichen Jiang ae9d31d098 review: pin off-value wire contract, scope compat inheritance to the entry's api, update the superseded note
Review findings on #1977, each verified before acting: the 2026-08-03
declared-provider-catalog note is updated in place and cross-linked both
ways now that reasoningEfforts/compat reopened half of its rejected
alternative; resolveModelCompat inherits the catalog entry's compat only
while the resolved api still is the entry's own, so a route-level api
repoint no longer merges another protocol's shape as a completions base;
the off-with-value promise gains a request-boundary test proving pi-ai
reads thinkingLevelMap.off when the reasoning option is absent (and the
catalog-level test name stops overclaiming); the cannot-stop-thinking
wording narrows to what is actually enforced (no Off offered, explicit
Off refused — an effortless request goes out bare); the z.const(null)
comment attributes null passthrough to schemastery's nullable
short-circuit; the baseten drift-gate claim names its verification
source; and the layered-merge delete gap for dict keys is documented
under Known Limitations with the atomic-leaf follow-up in #2003.

Yichen Jiang 69bd00ae76 chore(web): register the skill-user-invoke scenario in both typecheck planes
The web app project excludes every e2e file (they are host-plane programs)
and tsconfig.host.json includes them one by one; the new scenario joins
both lists so it keeps typecheck coverage without dragging host sources
into the client project.

Huanqi Cao aa790346e4 docs(sandbox): explain why the token intersection needs no new identity
Add the mechanism section to the Windows rung Agent Note: identity routes (restricted-user, AppContainer) default-deny everything from a fresh SID and pay per-path ACE writes for every read, while the WRITE_RESTRICTED token keeps the caller's SID and double-checks write-class access only — reads pass on the normal check alone. Covers DISABLE_MAX_PRIVILEGE/LUA_TOKEN as the token-side limited-user synthesis and why SidsToDisable read restriction is unused.

Huanqi Cao 264420127a docs(sandbox): record the Windows rung design choice — raw ACL restricted tokens over mxc and AppContainer
Add the implemented Agent Note owning the win32 rung decision: mxc rejected (OS floor 24H2, BaseContainer tier only on 25H2+ with the OS feature enabled, and arbitrary-path reads demand wholesale host DACL writes), AppContainer rejected (no ambient read access — arbitrary-path reads unsupported), landstrip already rejected and AppContainer-shaped. Link the note from the backend README pair and restate the choice in the PR description.

Huanqi Cao dcd5a50374 docs(sandbox): satisfy the doc-sync gates for the Windows ACL packages
JSDoc every sandbox-windows-acl export (the 138 verify-export-jsdoc violations); fix the sandbox-windows-acl README code block (undeclared workspaceRoot), bring its stale claims current (the provider wiring and kill-on-close are live), add the canonical Model Experience sections to both new packages, audited the backend's indirect Model Experience sentence, and regenerate docs/config-catalog.md.

Huanqi Cao bec3cba084 test(scripts): split placed-image paths on both separators in project-doc-site.spec.ts
The placer fixtures derive the basename with split('/'), which never splits a Windows absolute path (backslashes), so the two image-placement tests fail on win32 hosts. The production rewrite passes absolute paths through; the fixtures now accept both separators.

Huanqi Cao 7574769818 fix(bundle): drop fs-local from the Windows layer — duplicate ctx.fs registration failed load
The Windows platform layer re-enables the base fs-sandbox row (removing its disable), but still inserted dsh-fs-local: both extend FileSystem and provide ctx.fs, so every shipped win32 profile failed at load. Delete the insert; fs-sandbox stays the single fs provider exactly as on POSIX. Sync the roster specs, the base/reference README pairs, the sandbox core doc (read-only grants no sink on Windows), the windows-shell JSDoc, and re-record the i18n pairings.

Rebuild of the fs-overwrite-diff-bound branch on current master. Adds the
diffBasisMaxBytes Config field (10 MiB default, capped by runtime
allocation/decode limits), gates both overwrite sides, and reads the prior
basis from the bounded opened descriptor in cancellation-aware chunks; any
post-stat size change returns a null basis. Also pins the one-extra-byte
growth probe with a regression and drops the now-covered v8 ignore.

The policy scenario now expects the user-only quadrant in the menu with

Huanqi CaoandHuo Yaoyuan f64ba40f43 feat(sandbox): Windows ACL write-restriction sandbox (restricted-token runner)
Confine Windows command execution through a WRITE_RESTRICTED token whose restricting SIDs carry an orphan-SID write allowlist, ported from https://github.com/huoyaoyuan/windows-acl-restrict-poc (@ 10e4dfb). Every Win32 call is checked and fails closed - the POC silently ran children with the FULL token when CreateRestrictedToken failed.

- @deepseek-ai/dsh-sandbox-windows-acl: koffi primitives verified against the MinGW Windows headers (verify/abi-probe.cpp) plus the confinement runner ([node, runner, --workspace, --temp, --mode, --, argv...]: kill-on-close job, stdio passthrough, exit-code mirroring, windows-acl-run: failure signature, grant revocation). read-only = strict zero grants (NUL device not writable; documented). Windows-only execution: exempted from the Linux coverage lane (windowsOnlyCoverageExclusions).
- @deepseek-ai/dsh-sandbox-local: PLATFORM_CHAINS.win32 filled with the windows-acl runner (full enforcement, ACL denial dialect, runner-failure rules).
- @deepseek-ai/dsh-pwsh-sandbox: sandbox-consuming pwsh executor (call-for-call mirror of dsh-bash-sandbox) over a new argv-level seam in dsh-pwsh-local; per-file coverage complete via the fake-provider spec.
- bundle/base: the Windows platform layer mounts the confined pwsh roster - sandbox/policy/fs-sandbox/permission/approval re-enabled, the POSIX bash stack stays disabled.

Yichen Jiang 8ccb176905 docs: per-model reasoning guide, config catalog, and the feature's Agent Note
The user guide's model-catalog section teaches the three new knobs at
task altitude — declare levels per model, pick the reasoning dialect,
reshape catalog models with modelOverrides — with the settings.yaml
example exercising all of them, plus an UNSUPPORTED_REASONING_EFFORT
troubleshooting row. The generated plugin config catalog picks up the
new Config fields, and the bilingual Agent Note records the decision,
the alternatives considered, and the schemastery materialization
constraint that chose false over {} as the disable spelling.

A user/message carrying the skill-invocation source materializes as its

collapsed behind a disclosure. A record with an unreadable name degrades
to the injected-context row.
